Your daughter's right, Hef.  The melody is very catchy.  :tup

I think I will have this stuck in my head for like the next week.

Well, that was the worst cover of "Smoke on the Water" I've ever heard.

Hey, guys, check this out.  This is the debut performance of a percussion composition called "Dancing In The Streets" written by my daughter, who just graduated 8th grade.  I'm proud as hell.  Let me know what you think.

lol, I didn't even notice that you had made the thread!  Last night was her 8th grade commencement (where she was showered with honors and awards), and it was a late night out celebrating.  Morning comes too early, and nighttime falls too late.  Thanks for the merge, Nick!

Yes, guys, I am super proud of my daughter.  Thanks for all the kind words.  And

Well, that was the worst cover of "Smoke on the Water" I've ever heard.

Your daughter has fantastic confidence in her public speaking and deservedly so. Totally adorable and the arrangement was very well done with the on/off approach on the drums(I'd have said percussion but ya know.) Kind of reminds me of the music from the Donkey Kong Country series and I mean that in a very good way.
