Immediately following the final Sonisphere festival in early August, the band will fly back to the US and begin writing and rehearsing for a new album that's expected to be out in early 2011.

'Bout fucking time. It probably won't last though.
I'd love to be proven wrong.
-
lets all hope this is going to last
-
How many times are they gonna bounce between Joey and John Bush?
-
I think Joey and John have been their best two singers, so I'm happy either way, but I'd much prefer Joey.

I swear for the past few years the only time I see Anthrax in the news is when they change singers.
FIND ONE AND STICK WITH HIM!
-
Well let's all be thankful for them at least not sticking with Corey Taylor

What the hell, when was that ever on the table?

They were close to recording an album with him a year or two ago, and then last minute commitments with Slipknot and Stone Sour prevented it, thank God.
-
That...
Wow.
-
They had been sending tracks back in forth, and were in the early stages of developing songs, soon to be in the studio. :puke:

Something wrong with Corey Taylor? Besides his (most of the time) bad lyrics?

I don't see how his vocal style would fit Anthrax, that's all.
-
I definitely prefer Bush. Also, I don't remember Joey being particularly good live.

He sounds good, but not great. It's also tuned WAAAYYY down.

The only singer for Anthrax was John Bush. Stick a fork in these bums.

Anyone remember this?

In My World they were playing along to :metal :metal and that shit was funny as too! :rollin
About the new plans, I hope they do one with Belladonna, even if the guitars will be tuned down it could set some modern thrash quality; Anthrax style! :metal
The news sounds a bit promising.

Life's good. :metal :metal

Now I absolutely love John Bush, and Stomp 442 is one of my favorite albums of all time..BUT..... Anthrax was truly never the same after they let Belladonna go. They lost ALL momentum when that happenned.
Now they are simply a clusterf##k of a band.

Such haters. Corey Taylor would have rocked as Anthrax's singer. The guy is a damn good singer, much better than Dan Nelson, and could have given a big name to a once-big band again.
Instead, Anthrax screwed up with Dan Nelson, damaged its image, had to call on John Bush to bail them out, and now go with their tail between their legs to Joey Belladonna as their second choice. And now they are stuck with a singer that makes them very 1980s again. Try thinking about Joey singing "What Doesn't Die" or anything from the Bush era. Not going to be good.
That was the beauty of Corey. Like Bush, he could sing Bush's material AND Joey's. Good luck with Joey being able to do both eras.

Good luck with Joey even doing the Belladonna era! I mean what kind of shape vocally is he? I don't know any Corey Taylor other than the bands he's in (I mean to say I've never listened to him), but Anthrax continues to make all of the wrong moves..Let me guess, Among The Living will be played in it's entirety...

:lol That would kinda be funny, but awesome too. Rush, Megadeth, Slayer, Roger Waters... and Anthrax!

ATL was already played in it's entirety during the original reunion run a few years back. The 25th anniversary edition did just come out, so I'm sure they will do it again.
