I never saw this show until last night and I watched 6 or 7 episodes. Absolutely hysterical.
-
One of my favourite sitcoms. I even have the pop vinyl figures. :metal
The episode where Dorothy's son gets married to a black chick is one of my personal favourites (I think it's called Mixed Blessings). Check it out.

Absolutely one of the funniest shows of all time.

I never really saw the show until a couple of years ago when I caught a couple of episodes on TV and thought it was great, so I binge watched the entire series. Funnier than most current shows.

One of the best shows ever and really stands the test of time. It was also very edgy and ahead of it's time.

Grew up watching this show with my grandma.
Just recently finished re-watching the whole series for like the 20th time.
I truly do love this show.

I remember thinking at the time that Bea will always Maude and this is going to be a mistake. Well, I was sooooooo wrong, this show was so funny with some incredible one liners. Great show!!! :tup

Very funny show, one that will always remind me of my grandma. She loved that show, and whenever we'd go over to her house on a Saturday night, we'd all laugh watching Golden Girls. Good times. :coolio

Can't imagine watching it now, and haven't seen it is reruns, so don't know how well it has aged (ba-dum, ching) but it was glorious in its initial run.

I just rewatched it.
It's still amazing. Even if a bit of is outdated politically.

I took your advice and watched this episode on HULU last night. Yes, it was a good one, I didn't remember it. Good stuff!

Loved it since it came out. I think I like Sophia's lines the best. Plus the house they lived in looked cool, both inside and out. I like so many 80's sitcom "home" sets.
