I saw that the most users was like 937 from Sept. 2013 when DT self titled was released (I'm pretty sure)... will the record be broken tomorrow?
WILL WE BREAK 1000????
WILL THE SERVER CRASH AND FORCE US TO LIVE OUR LIVES WITHOUT DTF FOR AT LEAST A FEW MINUTES?!?!?!?!
We shall see...

I assumed MP's departure held most of the records. I recall a huge membership spike.
-
I've noticed the server having temporary overloads in the last few days. Let's break it! lol or not.

That I think held it until this

If I recall correctly the date is from when one of the singles was released for DT12, not the whole album.

OK. Maybe that was it. I don't remember, I only posted occasionally at that point.
Ironically, I think the server was down for a minute or two before this, because it wouldn't load or refresh or anything...

Didn't we all crash a pretty major site when they did the debut of TEI?
That was fun.

I don't think so.
he MP leaving thing can't be beaten. That was quite a psychosane moment.

But like I said, that was already beaten. MP left in 2010, the record was Sept 2013.
So, anything is possible.

I remember the forum grinding to a halt when DT did their DTF Q&A video for DT12. It looks like the most users ever online was a couple of weeks before that in the lead up though.

When I saw that figure for the most users, I just assumed it was when the DT12 Q&A was happening. What happened on the 9th September then, I wonder? The full stream was the week before release, so it can't have been that... ???

Apparently AFTR? I would have guessed The Enemy Inside, but that was apparently in August. Kind of strange.

Not even close apparently... peak of 256 so far.
And Blob is right... I recall that the 981 record was when RR released one of the singles from DT12 on Soundcloud - through the USA Today website if I recall. People were losing their shit because it was suppose to be available at 10am, but it wasn't available immediately in some countries (or maybe it was only available in the US?), so there was a ton of people looking how to get access to it, posting different sites that were streaming in different countries.
It's when I discovered Hola, so some good did come out of it.

Close, but nope.

So did I. The whole forum was sluggish and unresponsive during it (and I know a thing or two about being sluggish and unresponsive). It must have come close though.
And I almost thought you were going to link to something like a clinks thread. :lol
