Would have liked to see TCOT :(
AWESOME!!!!
I tweeted-
Okay I'll be the one to ask.. How much of #liveatlunapark was fixed up afterwards? Was autotune ever involved? Havnt heard it yet- hope not!
I don't think they will be answering that one. If they do, it's more than likely they won't do it with full sincerity.
Well we'll never know if they'll answer unless someone asks! And don't tell me I'm the only one with that on my mind..
You're right about that.
It would be interesting to know if all songs from both nights were recorded. As in, Bridges in the Sky (Night 1) and Bridges in the Sky (Night 2). The ones repeated on Night 2 are obviously not featured in the additional material, but it would be great to know if it is recorded and if something will ever happen with it.
I'm going to guess it's because they played BC&SL to death on the tour for the CD itself.
Oh, great! I'm surely going to be there, provided I manage to understand the shit about Google + :lol
If you guys want to ask questions here as opposed to posting to Facebook or Twitter, I will use a few. Just send them to my PM box with the subject #LiveAtLunaPark
All ready to go!

Awesome :metal
Edit: should totally ask james about the hat he puts on towards the end of PMU.
Will the hangout be viewable after the fact?
Yes. Like the Google+ Hangout we did here for the album release, this will be archived.
Bump! This is tomorrow. I will take one last look for questions around 2pm EST. :loser:
Does this start in ten minutes, or have I got my times wrong?
I had assumed it starts in ten minutes. These hangouts almost make up for the lack of commentary on the DVD.

It should start any minute now.

Why do you think they wouldn't answer it? They have been very forthcoming about that sort of thing in the past. I don't think they would avoid it or be untruthful at all.

Yeah, a lot of other bands would try to avoid the question, but I can recall a couple times that various DT members have referenced touchups to the DVDs.
I think someone should ask JLB and JP if they are going to do a live rendition of Love Is In The Air on the upcoming tour.

Don't leave Mangini out of it, he proved that he can do the backing vocals!
Is there a video link available to watch this yet?

Yeah, its actually been on for about a half hour (I just found it too) - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SNrsD2JF6Q8&feature=youtu.be
Huh? Bosk is the only person that asked a question, apparently.
I didn't even know they were doing this until 10 minutes ago. :lol
There were a few others, but not many. I emailed mine over DURING the chat because it seemed like Rai was running light on questions.

Great, last time there were so many questions that mine didn't get picked (there were, legitimately, much better questions), so I figured it was pointless to even submit a question this time :lol
The link to re-watch should be up soon.

Sorry. I would have started a thread about it, but I hadn't been following the LALP thread and hadn't seen Wey's posts about it, so I didn't realize this was happening.

I thought there were at least a few more. Would have been cool to have that question about fix-ups asked. Like many, I certainly wouldn't have thought less of the band for admitting to them, but it would be refreshing to hear a band actually talk about that.
Overall, Wey seemed a bit nervous about pressing the band on anything. I had to raise my eyebrows at the initial response to the 360 cam thing, where to me it felt like [sic] "Ah... (it's not on the DVD? we all thought it was on the DVD! So when's it coming out?) well that'll be great for fans to look forward to after this!" That was good of JP to step in and clarify.
Did Wey say they were releasing a Metropolis Pt. 1 video?
Was their any news as to when North American dates might be announced?

Originally he did, but he corrected himself and said they are releasing the video for On The Backs Of Angels.

Funny story about that, actually. When John said, "Oh, hey Jerry!" I momentarily forgot that I wasn't on the chat, and I said "Hi" back and waved at my screen. :lol :blush

I sure hope so! I have backstage passes (from Jordan's Pledgemusic campaign) for this tour, so I want to buy my tickets ASAP.

Quite the contrary, I've worked for these guys for 6 years and have known them all for going on 14 (thanks to working for MP for so long,) I'm not nervous about asking them anything, we're old friends at this point.... but going into a live interview that is broadcasting worldwide over the internet, I'm not going to put them on the spot too often with anything that might make them uncomfortable or I know that they aren't going to want to answer. I did that once during the DT12 release interview, and once on this one.
I always try to slip something a little extra in for the fans, be it something like a question they may not feel comfortable answering, a question I know the answer to already that isn't public knowledge yet, or a question specifically geared to get JM talking. :rollin
I would've asked a question, but I honestly figured that you guys were all going to jump on in and ask some questions like before haha.
Edit: thanks for doing the interview Weymolith. Also surprised we got to see them on google hangout again so soon, it was really cool to enjoy the DT humor.
I wish this was at like 5PM so I could have been on this live. Im watching it now and JLB is a funny guy. Seems like hed be a great guy to hang with.
Here's the link for anyone wanted to rewatch: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SNrsD2JF6Q8&feature=youtu.be
I've got to give a shout out to Wey for this little gem, "And there's the real reason for the November release...John's home stereo settings!" :rollin
I wasn't on and have no time to watch now, so what did I miss? :xbones
You missed James sitting in front of the mirror from the Awake artwork. You missed them saying basically that they would be interested in doing an Official Bootleg from the summer tour or ADTOE tour but that they had not done one just yet because it would overlap with LALP. You missed more discussion about John's chickens.
There was more stuff, a lot of discussion of the Luna Park experience, a little teasing for the upcoming tour, but those were the funny/important things that stood out. Most importantly, they seemed genuinely excited to talk to the fans again. I think this proves that even post-MP, this band is the best band in the world for how they treat their fans.

This.
That was another really cool chat. Thanks to everyone who was involved!
The most important information we learned today is that John wasn't just pulling or rubbing his chicken, he was smoking it.
I think I'm going to watch the video before sleep. How long is it?
About 40 min.
*Disclaimer: No chickens were actually smoked during the making of this video.
Rai, I gotta say your boss cat stole the scene completely :lol

You aren't, you know, insinuating that you are trying to illegally download LALP from an obviously fake file, right, since that would be against the rules...

Man, if they HAD filmed it in Montreal I would have sooooo been there. Montreal is one of my favorite towns. I would have driven the 21 hours to be there.

Also, JM was quite outspoken about his health condition in the days leading up to the show. I feel bad for him. :(
As anyone who's been in a band knows - if you feel rough as fuck the day of a gig - the moment you get on stage and start playing - you feel fine and afterwards too. :lol
Adrenaline really works wonders.
I had no idea this was happening, I'm just watching it, really cool stuff. Thank you so much, Ray and everybody. :tup
Watching now. Thanks!
