Question:
What is the best three-song run on Images and Words?
Option 1: Pull Me Under/Another Day/Take the Time
votes: 8
Option 2: Another Day/Take the Time/Surrounded
votes: 4
Option 3: Take the Time/Surrounded/Metropolis
votes: 61
Option 4: Surrounded/Metropolis/Under a Glass Moon
votes: 32
Option 5: Metropolis/Under a Glass Moon/Wait for Sleep
votes: 15
Option 6: Under a Glass Moon/Wait for Sleep/Learning to Live
votes: 46
Even though Learning to Live is my favorite song from I&W, I am going with Take the Time/Surrounded/Metropolis, since those are my next three favorites.
TTT/Surrounded/Metropolis is an awesome combo, but just like on Awake, my top 2 songs are the last 2 so the last option gets my vote.
Tracks 4-5-6 easily for me.
So many songs of such good quality, there's very little between any of them. Another Day's my least favourite, so that disqualifies the first two combos, and Metropolis is my second least, so the last one's got the best banger-to-mash ratio. Nonetheless, I think I'm gonna go Surrounded to Under a Glass Moon. Metropolis is still really good, and Surrounded and UaGM are golden.

My opinion exactly. These three tracks have the coolest flow, also.
Take the Time, Surrounded, and Metropolis. Easily.
Same for me. I would have liked to have Another Day, but then I would have had to lose Metropolis.
Under a Glass Moon/Wait for Sleep/Learning to Live
Holy moly.
Under a Glass Moon/Wait for Sleep/Learning to Live easily. Wonderful stuff!

Holy moly.
Pretty much this.
-Marc.
I can't vote against any choice that has both Under a Glass Moon and Learning to Live. I picked the last one.

Under a Glass Moon/Wait for Sleep/Learning to Live
Holy moly.
The run of singles (PMU - TTT) with TTT - Metropolis being a close second
That was much harder than I thought it would have been! PMU-AD-TTT, but could really have been a couple options.
The first three. I don't really like Surrounded or Under A Glass Moon, so yeah.
LtL has recently overtaken Metropolis as my favourite song, but "Take the Time/Surrounded/Metropolis" has my number 2 and number 3 tracks from the album, so I have to go with that.
Take the Time through Metropolis is exquisite. Metropolis and Learning to Live are approximately equal, but both Take the Time and Surrounded are better than Under a Glass Moon and Wait for Sleep.
I really can't decide on this one. Maybe Surrounded, Metropolis, UaGM.

Take the Time / Surrounded / Metropolis Pt. 1. All 3 fantastic picks. The final option is a close second.
For such a consistently good album, that was a surprisingly easy choice for me. I went with Take the Time/Surrounded/Metropolis, since TTT and Metropolis would be my two favourites from the album, and Surrounded is great too!
The third and the last are a very tight match. Both kick off with a prog masterpiece, have a mellow, cool breather in the middle and end with songs that are among most people's DT top 5. I went with the last one because LtL is my favorite DT song, and I'm infatuated with Wait for Sleep.
I went with Under A Glass Moon/Wait For Sleep/Learning To Live, but it was tough to not vote for Take The Time/Surrounded/Metropolis :sadpanda:
3rd option. Awesome songs.
Metropolis/Under a Glass Moon/Wait for Sleep
This is really difficult. What is better, three top 10 songs or my favourite song of all time + two top 20 songs? :-\
What in the world DTF? :lol

This one.
UAGM/WFS/LTL easily.

Yep yep
Under A Glass Moon, Wait for Sleep, Learning to Live.
Metropolis, Under a Glass Moon, Wait for Sleep.
I feel it's a nice settling down. The really intense Metropolis, then the intense Under a Glass Moon, followed by the piano/vocal duet of Wait for Sleep.
Surrounded -> UaGM.

I voted 3-4-5...but right now, I honestly wish I could take it back and vote for this. Under a Glass Moon is JP's most amazing solo.
Take the Time/Surrounded/Metropolis
If Under a Glass Moon wasn't so damn good I would've had to go with Take the Time/Surrounded/Metropolis. Alas. My vote goes to Surrounded/Metropolis/Under a Glass Moon. JP's solo in Glass Moon just makes it for me.
Take the Time/Surrounded/Metropolis BUT...my first three choices are Metropolis/LTL/TTT

Could have been any of the first 3 for me but this one has Metropolis on it.
Surrounded - Metropolis - Under a Glass Moon
Because The first two are my favourites off the album, and UAGM is better than TTT

This is a very interesting poll because you used WFS as its own song. I tend to think of WFS and LTL as single entity. In this case I'm not sure what the best three song run is on an album that has not even one bad second.
You almost have to choose around AD and S, since slower/ballad tunes generally aren't the main allure. Ill have to come back to this one lol.

That's more interesting about you than the poll.

I'm gonna go for tracks 3-4-5.
