I applied at Algonquin College in Ottawa for the Music Industry Arts program, and they sent back a letter requesting a document telling of what education I have relating to the program etc. as well as a recording I made myself. I decided to make a brand new one, this:

I recorded it on my school's iMac using the built-in mic. Pretty good quality given the type of mic. I did every instrument, that is acoustic guitar, electric guitar, and vocals. I think it turned out pretty good given the equipment I used, and that I didn't spend TOO much time trying to perfect it. As a result, there's some very minor mistakes, but I didn't want to take 20 takes of everything. Let me know what you think!
Also, I highly recommend headphones to listen to this!
:tup
That was great I really enjoyed that :tup a wee bit of work with your breath control will really help your vocals but apart from that well done :-)
Thank you very much!! :)
I recently recorded some "live" covers, featuring only acoustic guitar and vocals. One of them was The Silent Man again, but since I'll be posting non-DT covers in here as well, could a Mod please move the thread into General Music Discussion? (or wherever it would properly go)
Here's the link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oRZCa-Cht3s
I'll post links to the other two "live" covers I recorded once they're up!
My cover of Surrounded is now up as well: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TGJwQTMQFCk
