i love their music, but i don't think Pain of Salvation can write lyrics for shit! i listen to stuff like "Used" and "Scarsick" (okay, most of Scarsick in its entirety...) and cringe if i pay attention to the words.
of course, Daniel Gildenlöw is a poetic genius compared to a lot of mainstream pop music, but i figured this topic would be pretty boring if we just listed every Justin Bieber song or whatever.

What? Scarsick aside, Daniel is one of the best lyricists I have ever heard. TPE (album), RL, etc have pretty much the greatest lyrics ever.

I like most of the lyrics from ADTOE, and I really like some of the purply proggy lyrics from the older stuff, as well as brief, thoughtful verses like in Wait For Sleep. :D

Günther has some of the best lyrics. Or worst, depending on how you look at it. To me he's one of those musicians where it's so bad that it becomes good, and his music is actually quite catchy.
