C'moooooooooooooon Downward Spiral.
-
Nine Inch Nails. By far.
-
Well that was easy.
(TDS)
-
Damn! First final I can't vote in. Don't know either album remotely well enough to decide which is better so I don't wanna arbitrarily throw in my own uninformed two cents.
-
Another easy one. The last great QR album.

Queensryche

QR
-
Wow...another year left without my favorite choices. Given the options I chose QR

Queensryche
Promised Land was their last truly great album, it deserves to win this. :metal

It's The Downward Spiral and you know it.
Do it for Trent, for justice, for love, for me.

Oh Nicholas. You know how your abuse of power moistens my vajeen.

I love you Zander (quite seriously you're like a hunky young Bill Murray with a killer coif) but despite how awesome Trent's creative output has been I've always imagined him to be somewhat prickish. Buuuuuuut then again so is Tate so the personality stalemate merely prolongs my ambivalence to commit to a vote. I leave myself to you guyz collective lobbying not for the fluffing of my ego but rather to sway me once I get a chance to fully spin both once more at least.

P-P-P-Please vote for The Downward Spiral?

Shit! Your hair's growing back in pretty quickly. Out of curiosity what was your reason for bic'ing it in the first place?

Totally OT but I know, right?! I measured it last night and it's somewhere between two and three inches. And I shaved it to raise $890 for leukemia in memory of my uncle :D

Well that's a very nice thing to do. Has it been hard resisting the advances of the women whom inevitably feel a bit safer hitting on you at your current hair length?
-
Promised Fucking Land
-
Well that's a very nice thing to do. Has it been hard resisting the advances of the women whom inevitably feel a bit safer hitting on you at your current hair length?
:lol... you know, I haven't really been straight-up hit on much more than I usually am (except for that one waitress) but a lot of women compliment me on my hair now and sometimes I wonder if that's code or something.

Well I don't recall whether or not you're still with Tony but if not, then live a little. God knows women are meant to have carefree fun in places not limited to just Crystal Light commercials.
-
Zander, did you ever even listen to PL? You promised me you would.
Promised.
I listened to TDS for you.
FOR FUCKING YOU
incidentally I also voted Promised Land in this poll

Unless he's indicated an aversion to it or you've already done so, I'd recommend (only if you're comfortable with it) treating him to a threesome. You get to be the vegan going back for that steak you've been craving and he get's a hell of a night.
-
Dammit, I wish Jar of Flies would've made it. Queensryche.

Well if y'all go through with it and I eventually meet both of you then he owes me a beer for putting it back on the table

Shit, I owe you a beer.

After falling behind early, QR coming back to take the slight lead pleases me. :coolio

I can't believe fucking Queensryche is winning this...
-
I've given it some thought, and I think they're both decent but not great albums, and I really have no preference whatsoever.

Well, this is a Progressive Metal forum.
Ofc cheese is going to beat some good ol' industrial. :P

Very happy to see one of my picks win the crown for the first time in 24 years!

Am I the only progressive metal fan who thinks that Promised Land was when Queensryche started to suck?
Oh, I am? Carry on then. :P

Promised Land -- awesome statement by the REAL Queensryche. Love the record.
-
Promised Land is the climax from QR.

Favourite album of 1994 = favourite album ever.
Troublegum by Therapy?

There is no justice in this world.
-
Just for the record I never voted (this post is mainly for the informing of Jackie and Nick)
-
How the hell did Promised Land win anything?
That's the one Queensryche record I have and it has effectively stopped me from purchasing anything else by them.
-
Promised Land can be a difficult listen at first, especially if you were used to their sound already, or if you had expectations of what they would sound like. It was a bit of a WTF for me at first (I only knew Empire and Mindcrime by them at that point), but I stuck with it, and with each listen, a different song would jump out at me as being rad as hell for whatever reason, and before I knew it, I was completely addicted to it. To this day, it is still a top 25 all-time record in my book. :coolio
