Gotta go with the best album of the 80's, Operation: Mindcrime.
-
MINDCRIME
Metallica is not a good band.
*runs*
-
Not a fan of either, but MoP has some decent tracks, so that.

Oh, come on. What a silly thing to say, even if you don't like them. Especially when they're against Queensryche. :loser:

Prince is now ashamed of having represented himself briefly with a non-number/non-letter character in the 90s due to its similarity with your choice in handles.

I don't disagree. But while both basically have terrible discographies, Mindcrime is a gem.

Whats up with not including The Warning in there? Its possibly my favourite Ryche album.

Metallica. Far and away.
While I am at it...it's kind of funny what's happened to O:M in the years since its release, especially since Queensryche's fall from grace. It's commonly viewed by progressive metal fans as a seminal masterpiece, but when it was released, it actually took quite a while to get going commercially. Queensryche fans, who at the time were still working on the left turn the band took between The Warning and Rage For Order (another album that became a seminal classic years after the fact) were a bit befuddled by O:M upon release. My best friend was a huge Queensryche fan, but when I played O:M for him he didn't really like it. O:M was actually, in its time, a grower, something you listened to a lot before you got.
Master of Puppets? An instant, undeniable classic. YMMV of course, but it is kind of funny how distance has made people view some albums for old farts like me who were actually there. :lol

Metallica is the only option here.

Op: Mindcrime is way better than any Metallica album. But its nowhere near the best album of the eighties. That title goes to *SPOILER ALERT*
-
Master of Puppets is a stroke of genius. Metallica really blew me away with this one.
-
Every time I listen to it I hope I get killed by a stroke. :neverusethis:
-
Gotta go with Mindcrime. But I love a poll like this where there really is no "wrong" answer.
-

Oh, you're talking about Operation Mindcrime?
That's generic if anything. ;)
-
Its a crime against humanity that Metallica continues to exist
