PREFACE: MODS I KNOW YOU (RICH) TOLD ME TO WAIT UNTIL JAMESMANG FINISHED HIS NEXT ROUND BEFORE STARTING MY ROULETTE BUT FUCK MAN I LEAVE FOR ARIZONA IN UNDER 24 HOURS AND WILL PROBABLY BE OUT OF THE HOUSE ALL DAY TODAY SOON AND LIKE MY ENTIRE OP WAS ALREADY PREPARED AND WRITTEN ON MY COMPUTER IN A NOTEPAD DOCUMENT AND I DIDN'T FEEL LIKE RE-WRITING IT SO THERE.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Welcome, friends. If you see your name in the list below, that means you have been given the
honor to participate in Lateralus88's very own song roulette. As we venture on through this eight
round (+1 finals round) extravaganza, we will laugh together, cry together and form new bonds together.
Actually, fuck that. Just send me songs that fit the rounds criteria or fuck off.
To start off, here is the list of participants. If you do not see your name, shit sucks mang.
ClairvoyantCat
SkyNivingDinja
Ravenheart
Quad
Gorille
Letters
Ultiboybandhead
As for my scoring system, I am going to go with the standard point system, but with a little twist. If I feel like during a specific round that everyone's entry is equally strong (or for that matter, equally shitty) I will be distributing points a bit more...evenly in the sense that it will be possible for everyone to get 5 points in a single round. I'm curious what kinds of results this might bring up. Experimentation FTW.
God tier: 5 points
Pretty damn sweet, bro tier: 4 points
I dig it tier: 3
Nice try bro but better luck next time. I mean it wasn't bad but it didn't hold up to the other entries...tier: 2 points
Fuck you that was terrible tier: 1 point (lower if necessary)
For reference, here is my last.fm: https://www.last.fm/user/piklesthedrumr
Keep in mind, there are plenty of bands that have made it into my last.fm which I have
only heard a small amount of music from. If the band has under 20 plays, I am going to open it up
as fair game. That is, as long as the song is not one I have heard or from the same album. If you are
unsure about whether a band or song is fair game, ask me first. I will make exceptions.
Also the general rule of not sending me a band twice if you got 3 points with them on a previous
round still stands. That is, unless the music is so totally different and varied that it hardly
matters. Again, I will consider exceptions.
Alright, lets get this mother fucking rolling.
___________________________________________________________________________________
OPEN ROUND, MOTHER FUCKERS. SEND WHATEVER THE FUCK YOU WANT.
Oh yeah, and here are all of the rounds that will go into this roulette. I figure this will both give you more time to think about each round, and will help in my possible absence if I can't update my thread while in Arizona for the next two weeks.
1. Open round
2. Dark music
3. Heavy blues/jazz influence (whichever. You decide)
4. Instrumental
5. Atmospheric
6. Fucking bizarre
7. Strong lyrics/lyrical content
8. Open
9. Final round - Send me a fucking album.

UPDATE TIEM!!!!
Sorry for the short write ups. I'm not currently at home right now and am writing these on someone elses computer...late...at...night...with...no...sleeeeeep.
5 Points - Ravenheart - "Twilight" by Edge of Sanity. I really, really, really fucking loved this. You definitely had the advantage here, by forcing some good ol' melodic death down my throat. I really loved everything about it. The growls, the riffs, everything. :metal
5 Points - Letters - "Starálfur" by Sigur Ros. Absolutely. Beautiful. In. Every. Way. Wow.
4 Points - Ultimetalhead - "Veils of Illumination" by Andromeda. Proggy, heavy, wankery and a Russel Allen wannabe. What more could the prog nerd in me ask for?
3 Points - Gorille - "The Girls of Porn" by Mr. Bungle. I've always been fond of avant-garde metal (surprise surprise). And this definitely hit the spot. But, still felt a bit underwhelming from some of the other stuff I've heard from Mr. Patton. Great song regardless.
2 Points - SkyNivingDinja - "Am I Wry, No" by Mew. More like...Meh, amirite? But seriously I just have never been impressed by these guys. I've tried before and just haven't heard anything all that impressive. There is definitely something good in there, but it's not for me. Sorry.
2 Points - ClairvoyantCat - "Father Father" by Susanne Sundfør. I wanted to like this, because of the atmosphere. And I did like it, but it's just not something I can say I really ENJOYED all that much. It's lovely sounding, but not quite my cup of tea.
1 Point - Quad - "Lay Low" by My Morning Jacket. You know, I swear I've heard some stuff from these guys at one point that I really liked. But this one just seemed a bit off to me. I mean, it's got some nice instrumentation, but I was not impressed by it all that much.
-
YES! I had a hunch you'd like it. Dan Swano is the man. It was either that or a track from his solo album, but I sided with Edge of Sanity for this round.
-
Sweeeeeeeeeeet.
-
I'm sending nothing but Lady Gaga for the rest of the roulette you duck.
-
He liked Sigur Ros. He is excused from not liking Mew.
-
No he's not.
-
Yes, he is.
Trust me, it's all gravy, baby.

God damn it guys seriously? I got two artist repeats in this fucking round alone. I'm going to allow it but still. Whatevs.
UPDATTTEEEEEEE
5 Points - Quad - "Moya" by Godspeed You! Black Emperor. This song was fucking amazing. It's dark, intense and overall just...so out there. It sounded like something from an Aronofsky film, which helped my opinion of it really. Those last three minutes man :hefdaddy
5 Points - Ravenheart - "Black Celebration" by Depeche Mode. This. This is what the fuck I was looking for when I made the "dark" category round. Holy shit man, I am so getting me some Depeche Mode when I get home and my computer stops being an asshole.
4 Points - SkyNivingDinja - "Hall of the Dead" by Isis. God damn, yes. The growls, the clean vocals and the overall tone of the guitar. Wonderful and dark.
4 Points - ClairvoyantCat - "Vigil" by Ulver. I should be knocking you down because we haven't hit the atmospheric round yet, but this was a wondefully dark atmospheric song. So I'll look past that. I know I know, you wanted last place. Suck it, you don't get last place.
3 Points - Ultimetalhead - "Atom and Evil" by Heaven and Hell. I really fucking liked this song. A lot. Because Slayer Dio. But it wasn't what I was quite looking for. It's heavy, but what I want when it comes to dark music. That's the only real reason I'm knocking it down to three points. Remember, I loved the song.
3 Points - Letters - "East Hastings" by Godspeed You! Black Emperor. Great song, but the length (lol) got to me a bit. And also not quite as good as Moya. Again, don't get me wrong. I really liked it, but less than the others.
3 Points - Gorille - "Porn Piece or the Scars of Cold Kisses" by Ulver. Cool sounding song all the way through. I thoroughly enjoyed the whole thing. It only makes me wish I had known of Ulver before. Just again, a bit less compared to the other entries. Thanks for sending the song regardless, mang.
POINTS UPDATE TIME:
ClairvoyantCat - 6 points
SkyNivingDinja - 6 points
Ravenheart - 10 points (2/2, god damn)
Quad - 6 points
Gorille - 6 points
Letters - 8 points
Ultimetalhead - 7 points
Okay so the next round is blues/jazz influenced music. This round is probably the one that means the most to me, so please I ask you to put some serious thought into your entries. I really, really would like to discover some new stuff out of this round. Have at it mangs.

I beat Ryan and his stupid GYBE and thats all that counts.

I am still in awe of the fact that you don't like that band.
Anyways,
FFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU

-
Shit, man. I really thought you wouldn't like this one!
Oh well, at least I'm technically in last place, but next round is really important for me to break away and establish myself as the worst. I'll be putting a lot of thought into this one! :)
-
Where's my points?
-
I beat Ryan and his stupid GYBE and thats all that counts.
Yea but you didn't beat me and my stupid GYBE
-
That's all right. Ryan's more annoying about his love of GY!BE so whatevs.
Ryan: I don't HATE them, but I don't see what all the smile is for. Hugely influential? Apparently. Just doesn't appeal to me all that much.
Lat: So I'll ask again, can it be straight blues or jazz, or does it have to be a different genre with ELEMENTS of blues or jazz?
-
failfailfailfailfailfailfail
-
Lat: So I'll ask again, can it be straight blues or jazz, or does it have to be a different genre with ELEMENTS of blues or jazz?
Well, I'm allowing either or. But if you have something with the heavy influences of blues or jazz do that. I really just want to be able to explore these genres much more.
-
Sent the best and hottest goddamn jazz artist ever.
-
So first of all, this has been the hardest round yet. Oh my god this round has been difficult to choose a best and weakest. But, I need to even out the results a bit so don't feel bad if you didn't get many points this round. I mean, I loved every fucking entry in this round to death. TO DEATH. But bagjwiorngpriwhjawyhp I can't choose. So...here goes nothing.
5 Points - DAMNIT ZANDER (Ravenheart) - "Spit Trap Ghetto" by Sarah Fimm. OhmygodthisisthebestthingI'veheardinforever. It's a little unfair, because you have the advantage yet again by taking my love for the 1920's speak-easy scene, which is the exact vibe I get from this song. Holy shit. I wish more of her stuff was like this song.
5 Points - Ultimetalhead - "She Rides" by Danzig. This was one of the biggest things I was looking for. Simple sounding, blues influenced metal. Yes. So fucking good. I love that main riff so much.
4 Points - Letters - "Birdland" by The Weather Report. Jazzy. So fucking jazzy. I loved every god damn second of it. Thank you so much.
4 Points - SkyNivingDinja - "Blue Train" by Johnathan Coltrane. Yes Yes yes yes yes jazz yes yes yes yes yes. I know who's music I need to check the fuck out a lot more.
3 Points - Gorille - "Star Scat" by Caravan Palace. I really liked this a lot. It was a bit out there, but it was just that right kind of out there that we have in common my good french friend. I feel bad I ranked it only a 3, but damn all these contestants were so good.
3 Points - Quad - "Sorceress" by Return to Forever - I really liked this one, but there isn't much else to say about it. Really great music regardless.
2 Points - ClairvoyantCat - "Old Castle, by the River, in the Middle of a Forest" by Hiromi. Great instrumentation, and great music. The only real reason I have to give it last place is it just doesn't seem much like something I'd go out of my way to listen to, moreso like with the rest of the entries.
Alright, instrumental round. Lay it on me, brothas. Anything goes, minus lyrics, vocals, spoken word, etc. GOGOGOGO
Results so far:
ClairvoyantCat - 8 points
SkyNivingDinja - 10 points
Ravenheart - 15 points (I love you so hard right now)

Oddly, She Rides is one of my least favorite Danzig songs, but it's definitely the most bluesy.

UPDATE TIME BITCHES. HOLY SHIT ZANDER DIDN'T GET 5 POINTS THIS TIME ZOMFG:
5 Points - Ultimetalhead - "The Great Plains" by Scale the Summit. All I have to say about this one is YESYESYESSOGOODYESYESYESYES. Fucking wonderful song, mang.
5 points - Quad - "Arubaluba" by Camel. Being the prog nerd I am, it's no doubt this was going to be a winner. I have always been very aware of Camel, but never gave them an honest listen. This was fucking fantastic. Very 70s. Very prog. I loved it.
4 points - Gorille - "La Marche" by Music for Money. I assume this is post rock. I don't know the genre enough to call it out correctly. But who cares, this song was fucking cool. Very creepy at times, and I really loved the atmospheric vibe I got from it. Very cool stuff mang. AND HEY LOOK 4 POINTS FOR GORILLE THIS TIME
4 points - SkyNivingDinja - "Helix Nebula" by Anamanaguchi. Okay so, I've never been all that huge on chiptunes. I mean, I love Norrin_Radd for being death metal chiptunes, but other than that I've never tried anything else out because of a sheer lack of interest. But this, this is cool as fuck. And well happy as fuck. Which was really refreshing to me.
3 points - Letters - "Suicide by Star" by God is an Astronaut. I wanted to like this a bit more than I did, but it kind of came off as a very standard post rock song. It wasn't bad by any means, but it sounds a lot like the majority of post rock I've heard in the past.
3 points - ClairvoyantisMajesty - "Mehr Als Alles Andere" by Bersarin Quartett. Not sure what to say about this one. I just simply liked it. It had a really cool vibe to it.
2 points - Ravenheart - "The Antikythera Mechanism" by BT. Once again, I really wanted to like this one. My issue with this song is that...while it eventually does go somewhere, it doesn't quite go the places I'd like it to go, if that makes any sense. The build up just felt like it was the main idea of the song, without much climax or resolution. Sorry mang, this one just didn't cut it.
RESULTS YOU WHORES:

FUCK ALL OF YOU HERE ARE SOME RESULTS MOTHER FUCKER:
5 points - Gorille - "Everything You Do Is A Balloon" by Boards of Canada. Yes. Yes. FUCKING YES. That is all.
5 points - Letters - Some French shit by Alcest. Very awesome song. Bonus points for black metal. Definitely one of those bands I should not be putting off as much as I do.
4 points - DykNivingSinja - "Atlantic" by Thrice. So far, from select other songs I have heard, I was never impressed by these guys. But well, lo and behold I really, really liked this song. A lot. Great choice.
3 points - Ultimetalhead - "Beautiful One" by that solo project Anneke did who I'm too lazy to copy/paste. In all honesty, I wasn't all that impressed by this. Her voice is fantastic, yes. In fact, that's what really saved this from a 2 pointer. The song isn't bad, but I didn't love it like I thought I might.
3 points - Ravenheart - "The Canyon Behind Her" by Dredg. I think I've been drawn in by too much hype with this band. I was expecting to really get into it. And once again it's not that the song was bad by any means. It just didn't hit me as strong as the top three of the round. I know this band must have a lot of good material, but I still don't get what makes it an eargasm to most. Good rergardless.
2 points - Quad - "Chapter I: Introverting Dimensions" by the Fall of Troy. So to preface this a little: I've known about FoT for a very long time, but could NEVER EVER EVER get into them. They are amazing musicians on so many different counts, all of them. Especially that Thomas Erak guy who is an unbelievable guitar player. But now here is where my problem is. Their. Vocals. Are. Fucking. Balls. I know, I'm going to sound like Justin when he talks about Coheed. But I literally just can not stand it. It's grating to me. I will probably get shit for this but he sounds like what Claudio Sanchez would sound like if he...you know...sucked. But again, don't get me wrong, outside of that they are great musicians. It's a shame they broke up (side note: My close friend has his guitar signed by Erak from their farewell tour). Oh and also this song was hardly what I was looking for when it comes to atmospheric music. Oh well.
1 point - ClairvoyantCat - "The Whilhelm Scream" by James Blake. Sorry mang, just wasn't all that impressed by this at all. Not my cup of tea I suppose.
Here are the current rankings:
ClairvoyantCat - 12 points
SkyNivingDinja - 18 points
Ravenheart - 20 points
Quad - 16 points
Gorille - 18 points
Letters - 20 points
Ultimetalhead - 20 points
Alright, another round I am taking fairly seriously, oddly enough. FUCKING BIZARRE. I want something extremely out there. Obviously, Unexpect is not allowed. But you get the idea. UPDATE GOD JEEZ FINE HERE YOU GO:
5 points - ClairvoyantCat - "Mammal Sauce" by Crotchduster. What a beautiful song. I never felt so in tune with both my self and the universe until I listened to this song. Also it was fucking WEIRD.
5 points - SkyNivingDinja - "RIKKI TIKKI TAVI" by Fair to Midland. Very bizarre but oh so fucking :2metal:
4 points - Gorille - "The Escape" by Scott Walker. In all honesty, this song seriously scared the fucking shit out of me. I was listening and wondering "Wut...when does weird happ...WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT!!!". And a very cool song as well.
3 points - Ultimetalhead - "Funk Yourself" by Pylox. Very cool mehtul song with some really bizarre twists here and there. Plus, dat bass. :metal
3 points - Ravenheart - "Szerencsétlen" by Venetian Snares. Very cool song. And the oddness of the song got cooler and cooler as the song went on.
2 points - Letters - "To All the Dancers of the World, a Round Form of Fantasy" by Sweet Trip. The song itself was not bad but I mean it was pretty okay. She has a cool voice. But honestly the only weird thing about this song was the electronic bits, which weren't all that bizarre to begin with. Valid attempt though.
1 point - Quad - "Like Herod" by Mogwai. I am sorry if this comes off as harsh but this song honestly felt fairly contrived and honestly just boring. I've grown to like some post-rock quite a bit. But man, I just couldn't go for this at all. Sorry mang. Better luck next round.
CURRENT STANDINGS AS OF NOW:
ClairvoyantCat - 17points
SkyNivingDinja - 23 points
Ravenheart - 23 points
Quad - 17 points
Gorille - 22 points
Letters - 22 points
Ultimetalhead - 23 points
NEXT ROUND: GIMME SOME MUSICS WITH STRONG/WELL WRITTEN LYRICAL CONTENT OF SOME KIND GOGOGOGOGOGO

Hahaha! I can't believe that, out of all the songs I've sent for this roulette, the first one to do really well was Mammal Sauce of all songs. Haha.

It was beautiful.

UPDATE TIEM:
5 points - Ultimetalhead - "Testify" by Rob Wynia. From the one Floater album I have, I already could tell this was going to be a treat lyrically. Rob definitely is a great song and lyric writer, and god damn does he show it in this song. Well done.
5 points - SkyNivingDinja - "Jungleland" by Bruce Springsteen. God damn it, I hate that I am giving Springsteen 5 points because I just can not stand his voice, but it would be unfair to not recognize the beautifully written lyrics of this song. They are extremely poetic, and paint a very vivid image directly onto whatever part of my brain imagines images. Damn it, Matt.
4 points - Ravenheart - "Better Safe Than Sorry" by Nightingale. I liked the lyrics to this song for different reasons than the others. They come off as very...I don't know how to put it, but personal and real are the first two words that come to mind. I don't know, the song I suppose hits to home a bit, and I can see now how this song can come off as very personal to you lyrically.
4 points - ClairvoyantCat - "Bear" by The Antlers. Oh man, so I'm mostly giving this song this score because it kind of, sort of hits close to home (not so directly, but indirectly through someone I know). I don't even know how to explain that so I'll just leave it at that. The song itself was just okay, but the lyrics were fantastic.
3 points - Quad - "The Chain" by Fleetwood Mac. Great song with some fantastic lyrics. I would have given this more points, but I really don't want three people getting 4s. If it helps, it does deserve that ranking, but I needed to bring something down a notch.
2 points - Gorille - "The Rake's Song" by The Decemberists. I dunno. I know the lyrics are well liked amongst many people n' shit, but I just couldn't get into them. I gave this a 2 because I really liked the concept of the song and it was catchy during the "alright" bit. But I dunno, I guess I've just heard better.
2 points - Letters - "Ornament/The Last Wrongs" by Oceansize. Again, I know there is something I want to like about these lyrics, but I just am not able to get into them. Plus, the music going along with it just felt...I don't know...really long without mush reason. I was hoping for something more focused lyrically, I guess.
Current standings:
ClairvoyantCat - 21 points
SkyNivingDinja - 28 points
Ravenheart - 27 points
Quad - 21 points
Gorille - 24 points
Letters - 24 points
Ultimetalhead - 28 points
Man, it's getting close. Alright, here we go. The last major round before the finals. It's open. So send something. ANYTHING. GOOOOOOOO
-
Damn, looks like it won't be me versus Justin after all. Oh well.
-
You still have a chance, Zander. I believe in you!
-
OH SNAP!
-
Eh, it's okay. It'll be WAY easier to win against SDN anyway.

-
Holy shit Alex, are you fucking kidding me? That's a top 10 song of all time.
-
That's the last song I would send for lyrics. It's more instrumentally based.
-
Dude the lyrics are AWESOME

-
Don't get me wrong--the lyrics are good, but when I'm listening to it, it feels like the music takes precedent over the lyrics. The Frame feels more focused on lyrics. I dunno, it's just the impression I get.
-
I guess I interpret the song different that you then
I think the lyrics are what ultimately help the song build up to the ending
perhaps thats why i think its like the greatest thing ever
-
I think it's just because you're a terrorist who eats small children and rapes all the men and robs all the women. Also you're white.

Alright, here's the results of the semi-finals.
HERE
WE
GO
5 points - Ravenheart - "Misled" by Evergrey. This might just be the first power metal song I've listened to and been relatively excited about. Not even really sure why, but god damn was this good. The vocals weren't too flashy but still felt like a "power metal" vocals, and the guitar work was really cool but also not too flashy. Wonderful song all the way through.
4 points -ajniNgniviDykS - "Darkness" by Peter Gabriel. So god damn good. I loved it.
4 points - Ultimetalhead - "Relentless Revolution" by Death Angel. Okay this song kicked some major ass. So much ass. I might not listen to thrash as much as I did a year or two ago (still a big fan, but bored easily by it after a few albums) but this song was a good refresher on why I love a lot of thrash metal. My only problem was the vocals. I can sit through plenty of iffy thrash vocalists, but something about their vocalist...bothers. Maybe it's because of the pitch but he almost sounds like a thrash version of that dude from Rage Against the Machine. Just a bit. And that was enough to knock it down a notch. Sorry. Great song though.
3 points - Letters - "Last Goodbye" by Jeff Buckley. Good song, but nothing earth shattering. I hear a lot of love for Buckley, which I suppose I can understand. But he's good, just not a god send. Not sure I'd go back to this song (or check him out any further for that matter) though. It was good for this listen.
3 points - Quad - "Porcelain" by Demians. Very cool song, I'll give it that. But not quite my taste. I mean, I liked it but it still just didn't sound like something I would go back to any time soon. I also had to knock it down for that part at around 3:40 which sounded like a (don't give me shit for this but...) generic post-rock section with the use of fast strumming and the use of an effects pedal to give it that "brrrzzzzz" sound. I don't know, but I've heard that exact same sound so many times now.
2 points ClairvoyantCat - "Not The Sun" by Brand New. Okay song, but not my thing. Sorry mang. Not much else to say.
1 points -Gorille - "Donkey Rhubarb" by Aphex Twin. I'm sorry man but this song just bored me immensly. Clearly not my thing. It felt like it didn't go anyway.
Okay it looks like we have a three way tie.
So fuck it, Ravenheart, SkyNinjaDiving and Ultimetalhead SEND ME. A FUCKING. ALBUM.
And to the rest of you, good game and all. I really enjoyed every round of this roulette. No hard feelings on the results.
-
fucking Evergreay won? Over Aphex Twin, Brand New, and Jeff Buckley?
holy fail
-
fucking Evergreay won? Over Peter Gabriel, the only artist that mattered out of what was sent?

Can we send full albums of artists we've sent you for the roulette?
I'll allow it, if the album is significantly different from the song you sent me.

EDIT: sent. Woohoo.
-
So bout dem results....
-
Tomorrow afternoon. Be there or be square.
-
Okay, mother fuckin' beaches, here we go with the final results. Fuck my normal rating system by the way, I'm making this shit up as I go.
First off, in the upper left corner we have Ravenheart, weighing in at 34 pounds, with his weapon of choice. Fallen by For My Pain...
What a fantastic choice for the final round, isn't that right Jim?
Yes, yes it is Alex. Let's go ahead and see what we got here. Fallen is an album filled with nothing but good ol' gothic metal goodness. The music is a step above doom in terms of composition, so it's not 100% dreary. The vocals are definitely the high point of this album, Alex.
Is that right, Jim?
Oh yes, indeed. The vocals show much promise in terms of range, but without much showing off. And the musicianship throughout the album is rather top notch. Definitely one fucking hell of an album. Now before we give point deductions for any faults, let's go ahead and give it the base score for now.
Yes Jim, this album for now hits up with a total of 54,300 points.
Wow, congrats Zander. And now onto the second contestant. Weighing in at 352 epic pounds of epicness, we have Ultimetalhead. His weapon of choice for tonights final round is OM by Negura Bunget. Now this is one hell of a contestant, I must say Alex. Why don't you give us the run down for this one.
Certainly. Negura Bunget are an Italian black metal band who deserve every shred of respect they can muster up. And OM definitely proves itself as a powerful album filled with that almost trademark black metal sound and atmosphere. The vocals seem to be made of the purest essence of evil known to man. An essence that only black metal musician can probably pronounce. There is also much progression in the music on this album, folks. With songs that clock in over 10 minutes in length, and do not bore or disappoint the listener. Every aspect of this album seems to be of the highest quality. What is the ranking we are giving this album before deductions, Jim?
105,563points Alex. Alright, onto the last contestant. SkyhivingManga has entered the ring at >9000 pounds and holding a copy of The Flaming Lips album Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots. Now this is an odd submission Alex, seeing how we both know how you feel about things that get labeled as Indie, but you know, this album ain't half bad.
That's right Jim, Yoshimi is actually a fairly wonderful album. Not so much something I'd go out of my way to listen to, but something I am very glad that I was exposed to during this final round. The title tracks being the highlight of the album. I don't really have much else to say, but it put up a good fight. I will say that my mood definitely increased as I listened to this album. Very uplifting in an odd sort of way. I'm going to give this album, before deductions, 73,000 points.
Alright folks, now it's time for the final results. Before we declare the winner, we must deduct points from each player based on the biggest negative aspect of their submission. Sorry boys, but it's company policy.
Ravenheart - 54,300 points. You are being deducted 54,295.5 points because your submission has no clear faults but you have too many points. You are now at 4.5 points.
Ultimetalhead - 105,563 points. You are being deducted 105,558 because your submission is not trve kvlt enough. You are now at 5 points.
SykDjentNinja - 73,000 points. You are being deducted 72,997 points for both not sending mehtul and because it's 2indie4me. You are now at 3 points.
Well there you have it folks, our winner appears to be ULTIMETALHEAD. Don't let this discourage the losing contestants, you all sent me fantastic music that I enjoyed listening to regardless of how many points it got. Justin, please stay behind for a few minutes so I may give you the very phallic trophy you deserve.
Good game all. Go away.
