It will probably be a few months before we get the property (if we even do.. its still in the early stages of bidding.. but the property manager for the current property I work also manages the potential new property, and is pushing for us.)
I think I would be a great choice, as I have the most seniority out of any of the employees up here (I've been here longer than my supervisor. The only reason he got the job over me in the current property is he has prior law enforcement experience.) I also have a great working relationship with the property manager here, and id you ask any of the board members for the HOAs we work for here (5 total, 1 master, 3 sub associations, and one other association.. lotta politics here), no one would ever have anything negative to say about me. Hell, there have been meetings where the only positive things said security wise were ABOUT me).
It would be a fresh start... that also hopefully involves a pay bump. I already can and have practically ran this place at times. I've done scheduling (even though I have no management title now, I still am the one pointing out issues with the schedule and fixing them). I have done payroll in the place of my supervisor. I have great people skills and can build relationships with those who I should have them with (Board members, etc). I know the ends and outs of the job. I just need the chance.
