Forum crash tried to get in the way of this madness, but it'll take more than that to stop me - OP is up! https://www.dreamtheaterforums.org/boards/index.php?topic=58958.0

I’d like to be added to the end of the waiting list for Metro v3

Your v2 is still on the list and will start very soon though? :lol I don't really want a trend to start where people ask to be added a second time so they don't have to wait as long, so I'll do this; you're on for the v3 so I don't forget about it, but if anyone else asks to be added between now and the end of your v2, they get put in front.

I'll have to pull myself from the list - I haven't even had time to compete in a roulette, let a lone run one.  I'd still like to run one, but only when I have the time to commit to it fully.

Disappointing that we're getting more regular updates from 2 roulette's that are OVER vs 2 that are still "in process".

Quotations used loosely.
That's a word salad - and take it from me, I know word salad
I fear for the day when something happens on the right that is SO nuts that even Stadler says "That's crazy".

Wait, what? Buddy's and mine are updated more or less regularly, and that leaves Indi on the "in process" list.

Trying to figure out if you included Mason's as in process or throwing shade at me :lol

Mason.  Definitely not throwing shade at you.  I just got back from vaca - did Doc's officially join his last roulette and go into hiatus?  If so, might as well scuttle it, as I think 2x in a row is poor form, and given how convoluted it was, I know I'm unlikely to return to it and try to figure out all the rules to the game again.

That'd be a shame if so, I enjoyed the early stages and liked the game mechanics. But totally appreciate if something came up and Doc doesn't have time for it now.

Yeah, the only mostly-inactive but still listed as active roulette right now is Indi's. He hasn't disappeared completely, but the updates are so slow that we might wanna let Metro start his if he's ready.

Indi is also in his second to the last round, so he's pretty close to finishing anyways if life allows him a spurt of productivity.

Yeah, when you're running a roulette you become a bit hyper-sensitive that comments about ongoing roulettes in general might be veiled barbs at the one you're running.  :lol

That'd be a shame if so, I enjoyed the early stages and liked the game mechanics. But totally appreciate if something came up and Doc doesn't have time for it now.

Indeed, I liked the uniqueness of the mechanic and was looking forward to seeing how it played it.  I especially like that it kind of forces people to listen to the playlist too, it's too easy to be lazy and not check anything else out.

Indi is also in his second to the last round, so he's pretty close to finishing anyways if life allows him a spurt of productivity.

I think it might actually be the third to last round, he had been talking about doing the royal rumble again as a final round.  I should go and read that from the '20 one, I kept hearing it was a blast.

Yeah although all three "live" roulettes (i.e. excluding Indi's) are early stages. That said, Metro's is going to be a quick one with only four rounds so I guess he'll be the next to finish and make a space.

How did we have so few roulettes finish in '21 and '22?  There were a lot finished in '20, and a lot last year (even with my lengthier one occupying a spot).  Most of that was just before my time.  I know the late '22 roulettes were all slower-moving (three of which went to indefinite hiatus) because I was around then, but what happened in the first half of the year and prior one?

There just weren’t any people running them. My electronic roulette was so bad that everyone just didn’t want to play them any more. :neverusethis:

My last few roulettes weren't really planned, but more or less thrown together during down times just to give people something to do.
would have thought the same thing but seeing the OP was TAC i immediately thought Maiden or DT related
Winger Theater Forums........or WTF.  ;D
TAC got a higher score than me in the electronic round? Honestly, can I just drop out now? :lol

Possibly an odd dynamic of the post-pandemic period. Even though you'd think online interactions would have been well suited to it (and indeed 2020 had a decent number of roulettes), in a lot of regards the couple of years after was quite odd for a lot of people and that may have affected people's desire to do things like roulettes.
