Put out whatever little itsy bitsy fires may pop up here or there, budget-wise
Run a report
Go for a walk at lunch
Wait patiently for 4:00
Go to bar and drink beer and eat wings
Go home and drink considerably more beer
Scrounge around for random shit to eat
Drink more
Bed

I'm trying to gather my strength for a wedding on Saturday. Basically there's an hour pre-game at a bar, before walking across the street to the beach for a quick ceremony and then coming back to the bar immediately afterwards.

Beach weddings are always a good time. We got married on the beach in Antigua, with probably 75 onlookers on the remainder of the beach. We had people coming up to us all week telling us it was the most romantic thing they'd ever seen.

Morning peeps. Took a new route to work. Shaved like 8 minutes off my time.

My plan today is identical to yesterday. Get off work. Rush home. Rush back to the bowling alley and bowl. I do have to figure out what to do for lunch today. I'm burnt out on Chinese.. I may harass my aunt to have lunch with me.. She's got jury duty and the court house is literally across the street from me.

We are taking a big truck full our our stuff down to the new house in Raleigh next week. We will also be taking my youngest daughter to get registered for school down there and have a tour of her new school. Hopefully that goes well.

Also, my brother is helping us with the drive, which means good times and probably a cigar and some beer at some point lol

"Most" people drink because they enjoy it, not to fulfill the ridiculous stereotypes that the media continues to propagate. Yes, sometimes we joke around, unintentionally furthering the stereotype, but we drink because we like to. Saying most people do it for that reason isn't really fair or accurate. In my experience, at least.

Right. Amongst friends, that kind of joking around is normal. Bill knows that me busting his balls about tequila is just for fun and none of us drink with even the slightest thought as to what anyone else has to say or think about it. A pretty good model for how the rest of life should be lived, in my opinion.
