EDIT:

I was drawing that logo on my Pee-chee almost 30 years ago.   I have *NEVER* seen that movie poster.

I'm 43 years old...I've been an IM fan for 30 years....and I have JUST NOW discovered that they did not invent that font.

Yeah but Green Day stole Iron Maiden's font so they suck even more than before.

The stream now prevents me from listening to it. It says that they won't let it be played in my region. :(

You're in Canada right? Have you tried this link:

https://puregrainaudio.com/audio/dream-theater-the-enemy-inside-song-stream-exclusive-canadian-premiere

Zydar, you are my saviour. I've got a browser add-on that let's me see/listen to region locked material on sites, but one of my buddies desperately wanted to listen and couldn't. So I just wanted to say thanks a bunch

Glad to help :tup

My browser has no such add-ons, and I'm Canadian, but the USA Today link worked perfectly fine for me. Or did they restrict it after the fact?

So, this is probably old news, but I notice that on the pre-order site, it confirms that the album artwork was done by Hugh Syme.

I don't know what I'll be getting. I don't have a vinyl player (yet, I might get one sometime) and I don't have a 5.1 surround set, so those would be quite useless. The iPhone gel skin shit is also useless for me since I don't have an iPhone. However, the contents of the USB stick are awesome and the artwork should be good.

It would be great if they offered instrumental mixes once again, i don't really find 5.1 mixes appealing (unless it's by Steven Wilson  :P )

So the CD/DVD Deluxe edition in fact contains no DVD footage and is a 5.1 audio mix.

So was the in-studio footage recorded by OTE only use in those 3 two minute videos??  ???

If only I had the money :( I think the digipak has to do it for me :-\

And quite disappointing that there is no in-studio footage.

EDIT: btw, does this remind anyone else of the limited edition of Opeth's Watershed?:

It reminds me more of Whitesnake S/T and Slip of the Tongue. And guess who did the art for those?

Preorder's not up on de.roadrunnerrecords.com and amazon.de yet.

If the German release date really is the 20th, then I think I'll wait for those.

It would have made more sense to include that with ADTOE, but definitely better late than never! :tup I'm glad they've included that somewhere, although I'm not sure I'd personally spend $100 just to get that.

Eh, not really feeling any interest in the limited edition this time around, I've bought it every time for previous albums, but a 5.1 mix is pretty dull and I don't have an appropriate surround sound system anyway.

The deluxe edition sounds more interesting as it has the MM audition jam, which should be brilliant, but I don't have a vinyl player, so again there's just no point in me getting that.

Bit of a let down, personally.

^^ this really. I'm a sucker for digipaks and digibooks and all that fun stuff, but if the only bonus feature apart from the packaging is a 5.1 mix (and I also don't have a surround system), I might consider just getting the standard jewel case edition.

The fact that they're releasing the individual stems of Behind the Veil only suggests to me that that might be the instrumental.

I think it was confirmed in one review that The Enigma Machine is the instumental. I don't have the link though.

Phew shit... It never feels good spending that much money, but I pre-ordered my deluxe box set. Some pretty awesome stuff in there, but I have to say, I'm pretty disappointed that there isn't a bonus disc with instrumental mixes.

Yeah I was thinking exactly the same thing. Still don't get why they didn't put all stems for each song like on BC&SL. That is really cool for people who wanna play along with DT :D

If you ever find it, could you post it here please? :)

Pre-ordered the deluxe box set. The RR store spoke of 4-6 weeks for shipping so I'm guessing I won't have my box on the day the album officially drops so I'm wondering if they will give us a digital download to use while we wait for it to arrive or if I should place an order for the regular version from a local store.

I can't seem to find a way to download The Enemy Inside that's supposed to come immediately with the pre-order. Would you (OR ANYONE) happen to know how I'd go about doing that?

EDIT: Nevermind, I figured it out.
