Believe it or not, I was toying with the idea of sending a song from Autonoesis' debut - the tune Tim sent is from their second album, which came out last year.

I'll be curious to see how the song does 

BTW, their two albums are both pretty great, shame they barely have any promotion/online presence...

Several things I still haven't quite gotten the reference for.  What's the significance of the Roadrunner Records logo?  Referring to Sacul as "Dacul" (just a typo that caught on?)  And six roaming owls for Crow is just from Indicipline's wrestling roulette?  I've read a bit of that one, but have quite a ways to go.

I'll fire up the first impressions now, I was letting everyone have fun with Litho's first..... honest.

Several things I still haven't quite gotten the reference for.  What's the significance of the Roadrunner Records logo?  Referring to Sacul as "Dacul" (just a typo that caught on?)  And six roaming owls for Crow is just from Indicipline's wrestling roulette?  I've read a bit of that one, but have quite a ways to go. 

I'll give these a go, although some predate my roulette days I think.

The Roadrunner logo basically translates as "coming soon" although I don't fully understand why 

I think Dacul was a Cyril thing, possibly relating to Sacul always sending late, the same as how Elite is sometimes Elate.

I can't remember exactly when Six Roaming Owls appeared, but I think it may have been earlier than Indiscipline's roulette. It just became some joke/fake band, possibly first originating during a hangman session. Everyone guessing, someone said "oh yea, Six Roaming Owls, great band". Everyone ran with it and it became a thing. Could be wrong though.

4. Felt like this had a fairly good build, but no pay off.

5. Bit on the fence at the moment, but the guitar solo could help swing it for me.

6. Nice to be reminded sometimes that something that I don't think is for me, maybe IS for me.

7. Great drum sound, but needs better vocals.

This would be better, although I don't think I would describe the vocals as operatic...then again, I'm not sure other songs in this round have operatic vocals, so who knows

Yep, I have checked it out. It's very good...the opener, in particular, is excellent. I did prefer their full-length from the year prior, though (well, this is an EP, so...).
