1. Barstool Warrior - As others have mentioned, so much emotion in this song. From the reveal of the title, I was not expecting much from this one. And I certainly wasn't expecting it to sound the way it does given the subject matter. I suppose I was expecting either a ballad, or maybe something a little more "metal". But it's Images & Words meets Scenes and it sounds fantastic. Great lyrics, chorus and melodies!
2. Pale Blue Dot - This one took a few listens, as it was initially a little underwhelming as the closer of the album. But I love that DT kinda subverted the typical tropes of their usual closer, not delivering something seemingly epic (even though it is in its own way). This track really embodies its subject matter, feeling dark and isolated while also delivering a sense of wonder and awe. I also absolutely love the opening rhythmic riffs. It's the kind of track that the name 'Dream Theater' conjures up in my head, and I love it for that.
3. S2N - If someone were to ask me what I'd want for the next DT album, I would say something "colorful." This track absolutely captures that, delivering something that would feel at home with LTE. It's fun and it's going to absolutely kill live (especially the keytar bit at the end).
4. At Wit's End (Honestly, you could swap this one and S2N, they're both so effing good.)
5. Room 137 (This one's short and weird, and I dig that. It doesn't overstay it's welcome and I think it'll be a fun to see live).
6. Fall Into The Light (DT doing Metallica, which I can't say I find terribly interesting. It's an okay track.)
7. Paralyzed (I dig the opening drum intro and main riff, but to me it's BMU, BMD without the catchy chorus.)
8. Untethered Angel (Really middle-of-the-road DT that we've heard plenty by now. This one does nothing for me.)
9. Out of Reach (For me, DT's ballads have been mostly misses. This one is very forgettable.)
10. Viper King (It's fun, but not my cup of tea. I can see why it was kept as a Bonus Track.)
