wasteland won the internet!
Somewhere, over the wasteland..... bootlegs fly
When listening to Killing Hand on WDaDR it sound like James is singing:Sipping his poison the raven singsSHIT! another to add more bodies fallenas opposed to what is supposed to be:Sipping his poison the raven singsYet another to add more bodies fallenAlthough I would swear that it's NOT misheard.
Only King could mis-spell a LETTER.
Yep. I think the only party in the MP/DT situation that hasn't moved on is DTF.
Actual: As long as I have to die in the attemptMisheard: As long as I have to die and be a tent

But it was the Marquee version I noticed it on, not WDADRU, so it must just be a JLB thing.
Don't try to BS her about Kevin Moore facts, she will obscure quote you in the face.
Burning My Soul...I'm convinced it's secretly about a subject endeavouring for sexual elightenment, possibly involving drugs. Slightly immature/disturbing language content warning."Porn in my sight, jiff on my shoulder, a lump in my throat, the size of a boulderChillin my spine, keep getting it colder, and you wonder why I can't smile...A knob in my gut, napalm my back, in the heat of the moment, I locked out the trackChewed on the ball, I pick up the slag, and you ass me while my hairs break"1st Chorus:"Twisting, turning, losing all sense of gurning2nd:"Twisting, turning, losing all cents off perming"And to round out the choruses.."Depression, pizza! Burning my soul"Too many uncanny drug/sex references for it to be unnoticeable
Zydar is my new hero. I just laughed so hard I nearly shat.
Speaking of Forsaken: "She softly whispered in my rear...."
You've already posted that one before Quote from: Zydar on August 22, 2012, 12:19:37 PMSpeaking of Forsaken: "She softly whispered in my rear...."

Not exactly a misheard lyric, but I always felt like James says "sturvival" instead of "survival" in Under a Glass Moon.
Quote from: Pols Voice on February 18, 2013, 05:34:01 AMNot exactly a misheard lyric, but I always felt like James says "sturvival" instead of "survival" in Under a Glass Moon.It kind of does actually sound like that. Also, according to the ADTOE lyric booklet, the line in BITS says "May healing waters" but it sounds like JLB is saying "Make healing waters".
I hear it as "May killing waters"
Why does everybody think it's "Adesso" while it's quite clear that the word is "Ora"? It's not like the two words sound similar!
If you don't speak Italian, then not really. It's just rlglrlbrlbrlrglrglrglrpastapizzarlgkrglrkg to us English speaking folk.
