  • Pointing out the "unfunny" since 2014!

My predictions, having only heard a couple submissions so far: Puppies will try to claw out of his points rut, one of the top guys may or may not lose their edge, and someone from the middle will come out on top. Or will they? We'll see.

I fear that's me.  I struggled with my submittal, but ultimately went with my gut.

Ditto for me.  Both of us have keyboard heavy albums, so it'll be interesting if Kattoe prefers old, or new school.
That's a word salad - and take it from me, I know word salad
I fear for the day when something happens on the right that is SO nuts that even Stadler says "That's crazy".

I've never heard of him, except I thought I had read the name on this forum.  So I looked him up and saw that he was from the UK, which probably isn't great guessing criteria overall, but it seemed like a clue.  Then the cheating part - I did a forum search and saw that you'd posted about him.

I was worried someone might send Frengers, which is the more universally liked Mew album. I still think And the Glass Handed Kites is better by far.  :tup

In Contact freaking rules and so does TTTTARECDEHRNCVCE but In Contact is better. Parama gets 2/10 and everyone else gets eleventy/10. Send for round 4 :neverusethis:

Sobriety! :neverusethis:

This is a really cool round. Only one album I'm having a hard time getting excited about, but loads of good tunes here. Tough competition.

I am so fascinated that most of you speak such fluent Chinese.

Because that's what pretty much every band and album mentioned in the last 15 posts might as well be to me.

I've heard of:  Mew, Gilmour, Radiohead and The Dear Hunter
I like: Gilmour

(By the way, this is self-deprecating; I'm not at all suggesting that any of these bands blow or anything.  Except Radiohead.  They blow.)

Well I don't think that's such a big deal... I've heard of Dimension Act but not Mew, Frank Turner, or Brand New. I suspect that in the next round there will be at least a few more I haven't heard of.

I'm not listening to most of it in case people want to reuse some of these for my roulette...

Most of the names in this roulette I've never heard of before. Some I vaguely recall reading at some point but that's it. Pretty fascinating how much quality stuff is out there that I had never ever heard of, like Mystery or IQ.

I've heard and own Dimension Act (great album, the epic is awesome), TDH Act IV (also like it). I've heard ELP and like it, but I don't own that one.

I love that Gilmour album, and I love Remember That Night - Live in Royal Albert Hall DVD even more. Not sure what score I'll get, but I have no regrets.
This first band is Soen very cool swingy jazz fusion kinda stuff.
