You do that and you'll have to deal with the wood beast.

I just don't understand
I just don't understand what they were trying to achieve with any part of the song, either individually or as a whole. You know what? It's the Platypus of Dream Theater songs. That bill doesn't go with that tail, or that strange little furry body, or those webbed feet, and oh god why does it have venomous spurs!? And then you find out it lays eggs too. The difference is that the Platypus is somehow functional despite being a crazy mishmash or leftover animal pieces

Speaking of wood beasts, it wood be awesome if you beasts wood quit your whining.  Since this is all meant to be in fun, and since most people seem to be taking it that way and appreciate the fun mood of this forum as a whole, it would be nice if those who have complaints keep it to themselves.

Honestly, if you guys feel the need to whine and moan about it, I can easily arrange for you to not have to be around to see it.

Honestly, I'd rather just sit it out. It's not like it's going to last a week, month or even be the permanent only theme on this forum. (Or maybe, you take this as your queue to extend this theme indefinitely. Maybe that would be a good thing for my own sake, not visiting DTF all the time.)

We should have a Geoff Tate theme.

Alright, back to normal (except that I'm keeping the avatar for awhile).  You can now change your theme.  Flash is still available for those who want to use it.

The Flash theme actually wasn't bad at all. It wasn't embarrassingly obnoxious like the Friday theme, or as garish as the Care Bears theme, and I even preferred it to the regular dark theme that it automatically switched back to.

I didn't even bother looking to see if I could switch the theme out, because it was all good fun. :hat

First thing I did after finding the old theme back was figure out how to change the theme. Looks like Ming and Flash are going to be accompanying me here for awhile... :lol

Flash is still available for those who want to use it.

Even on iOS devices?

Also, what Blob said.  I would venture that most people's problem with Flash Gordon is that he isn't as well known today and people didn't connect to it as much as previous ones.

Next April Fool's theme:  Geocities.

Neon green and red text on black starry background that doesn't scroll, marquee headings in Comic Sans, view counter at the bottom, spinning gif files for all of the menu buttons.

That sounds GLORIOUS.
