I was wondering this too, since everyone keeps calling it a single, yet I don't see anything in the official announcement to confirm that. It probably is, but still I kinda hope it's not (for reasons already stated by other posters). Excited to hear it either way.

That will not be allowed here. The only links that can be posted are official ones. As far as we know this is only be offered for streaming and not for download, so any sharing of mp3s is strictly against the rules.

I remember waiting for hours on end to here songs on the radio so that I could record on a tape recorder and play it over and over till the album came out. Sometimes I'd wait for 4 to 5 hours sitting in my room waiting to tape it. Oh how the internet makes it easy to come home and just hit play a thousand times.

I really can't see the first track on the album being a ballad. I know DT are changing the formula, but that would be a MASSIVE and rather odd change.

This wondering is so much fun. I really missed this time of waiting for an DT album. And it's always very different from what I imagine, in a good way. Still I couldn't stop myself from gettng hopes high because James said they have made an album like Images and Words and Scenes From a Memory.

exactly. It's our first opportunity to hear Mangini with the DT guys, and to get a taste of the new direction DT are taking musically and sonically. It's pretty cool that they are even giving us any audio material at all.
I presume that pre-orders will become available not too long after this track is released.

I don't think they'll release any more songs before August at least. Another single short before the release, I can foresee. But if they're only going to play one song live, that's going to be the only one we'll get now.
