Catching up, and man, this was really easy on the ears. Lots of tasty groovy parts.
This showed up in my youtube feed today. I gave it a spin, and it has some interesting history apparently.
Released in 1972, this is the second album of New York City band Dust.
The trio consists of..
Bass: Kenny Aaronson, who I'm sure most people recognize.
Drums: Marc Bell, who in 1978 became known as Marky Ramone
Guitars/vocals: Richie Wise, who along with Kenny Kerner (who produced this album) would go on to produce the first two Kiss albums
Another youtube feed find.
Murphy Blend is a German progressive rock band. This 1970 release is a mix of Deep Purple Mk1 and Lucifer's Friend's first album, though not quite has heavy as Lucifer's Friend. Kind of reminds me of Alice Cooper's Love It To Death a little as well, but again, not as heavy.
I'm guessing that pipe on the cover got a lot of use.
Here's a song called Past Has Gone.
