I got the best bill in my email today (said no one ever)
So almost a full year ago I had solar panels put up on the roof of my house. One, renewable energy, two, saving money, and three to stick it to my local power utility company who constantly raises prices and is currently trying to put up huge powerlines in my neighborhood.
So it took about 8 months from the day they were installed to the day they were active and in use due to inspections and local codes and paperwork... but they finally got turned on in December. It's taken a few months but slowly I've been seeing my power bill go down. I think things have finally settled to where they should be now. My power bill this month to the utility company was $2.98.
