It is a little known fact that the following albums are actually an extended epilogue to SFAM:

- Nick becomes an alcoholic and documents his road to recovery under the pseudonym of 'Mike Portnoy'. It takes him seven years to do this. He also goes through various mental problems.

- The Miracle doesn't really get on well with his daddy and questions religion.

- The Sleeper finds himself trapped inside an eight-sided object, always ending where he began.

- Victoria meets many enemies and profits from war.

- They all meet up years later, become Freemasons, and visit some bloke in Tuscany (and his brother).

I long while back, I'm sure it was in the dt.net days, I typed a pretty funny summary of how Metropolis and Operation Mindcrime were actually the same story, and weaving the whole thing together for a huge neverending saga of sequels.  But then Queensryche unfortunately actually released that abomination called Operation Mindcrime II, which sort of rendered the whole thing very unfunny.

^Ouch!  Fortunately, DT would never write an album as bad as MCII.
