I just don't understand what they were trying to achieve with any part of the song, either individually or as a whole. You know what? It's the Platypus of Dream Theater songs. That bill doesn't go with that tail, or that strange little furry body, or those webbed feet, and oh god why does it have venomous spurs!? And then you find out it lays eggs too. The difference is that the Platypus is somehow functional despite being a crazy mishmash or leftover animal pieces

Metallica have been saying they'll get to work on the new album in the new year as far back as 2010.

It's just comedy now. The band they were in the 80s and early 90s has well and truly gone.

Now they have no idea who they even are anymore and keep doing weird extra curricular projects that keep failing miserably :lol ***

 :corn I'm so over waiting for a new album that it's ridiculous.

IF it ever comes out - i'll listen to it but they haven't put out a half-decent album in nearly 18 years.

I've butted heads with people on this subject more times than I can count, and it never accomplishes anything, so I don't know why I keep letting myself get sucked in.  Still, I have to ask, if you're 'so over waiting for a new album', why do you keep bringing up the fact that they haven't released an album?  If you really don't care anymore, why pay attention?
