I liked that they went with a well known historical event that hasn't been done to death in time travel, and it was an interesting twist that the bad guys actually stopped a disaster for evil purposes. But their time travel theory fell apart within one episode.

That's the problem with time travel. If you think about it too much - it all falls apart.

Even Back To The Future.

Would his parents live in the same house ? Would he suddenly have all new memories ?

Etc.

I wouldn't hold BTTF as any standard of time travel.

There's a ton wrong with their logic. But I don't consider that pure scifi, it's a light family scifi comedy, and it succeeds at everything else so damn well, so I don't judge it too hard. But plenty of time travel movies hold up perfectly well to their own internal logic.

I've seen so many time travel movies and shows at this point, so it's disappointing to see them do it badly when it's the entire premise of a show. If you can't get it right for one episode with one time jump, how's the rest of the show going to hold up?

Neither am I, I'm just talking basic time travel mechanics. I mostly spot anachronisms in historical stuff if it's computers or cars. Don't go and stick an early Pentium in a movie set in the '80s, people!

The current video I'm making is actually set in the 1920s, so I'm sure there are a ton of anachronisms in there if you knew what you were looking at. I don't care, as long as it looks "old timey".
At least I guarantee the computers will be time appropriate though.

I've only done 3 hours work the last two days because they're doing work at the cafe...

I'm not fussed really. I did a lot of extra hours over the summer to make up for it

I had a number of times where the damned regulator would leak all the CO2 out within a day. Irritated the hell out of me. Got a new one and came to realize that you don't have to turn it up very high and it will start hissing. I've kept it fairly low and have not changed the CO2 in a long time.

I like Autumn but I hate Winter. I get terrible S.A.D. I do try and get up earlier to get more daylight and find projects to work on in the evenings but it's futile sometimes and it just gets to me...

My favourite time of year is around March when winter is on the way out and I know I have all of Spring and Summer to look forward to

I get that. There is something about fall that I just love. Yes sometimes the winters can be harsh, it' dark and we are stuck inside, but I love the change of leaves, temperatures and the crisp fresh air of fall.

Fall is definitely my favorite season, especially September/October where the weather for the most part is still nice and the leaves start to change. Then you have football season and the beginning of hockey and college basketball. Also my birthday is the first day of fall.

Fall/Autumn is great. It banishes the evils of Summer! My favourite is Winter though, of course that's an Australian Winter. It's the only time of year the weather is good enough to go for a walk outside. The rest of the year, worthless. And Summer is unlivable here. All you can do is barely survive and get through each day. Last year was fucking brutal.

Yeah, I totally get that. I bitch about summer here but Florida must be brutal. Now the winters where I live are Jekyll and Hyde. Last year was an easy winter with little snow. The year before it was brutally cold and we had a month and 1/2 of big ssnow storm after another. I was almost out of places to throw the snow.

I don't think anyone here could handle snow.

Myself included. I don't know how anyone can complain about our Winters. They're so mild. In Summer I have trouble even existing. I know when it's getting too hot, because I almost pass out every time I stand up. All jokes aside, I basically have to spend the days lying down.
