It's pretty good IMO. There is one around here but I'm rarely in the area and it's not good enough to justify driving to it.

It's just fast food grub, but it's good fast food grub. Plus, the whole carhop idea is awesome.

Maybe this weekend I'll try it out. When I went shopping yesterday, I bought myself a filet mignon so I plan on cooking that tonight.

I like Sonic.  I don't even care which sandwich/burger/dog I get, I always get the chili cheese tots.  Mmmmm.

Of course, the town I live in (for now) still has two drive-ins that actually date back to the 50s.  They are also pretty good.

I like their double cheeseburger and tots. It's a go-to when I can't think of anything else, since the Sonic is less than a quarter mile from my office.

Maybe this weekend I'll try it out. When I went shopping yesterday, I bought myself a filet mignon so I plan on cooking that tonight.

I had filet mignon last night. Excellent meal. I find Sonic to be highly overrated and I like almost nothing about it except the shakes and slushies. The chicken sandwiches are largely breading with a very thin slice of chicken inside - nothing like a Wendy's or McDonald's chicken sandwich for example. I'm not a fan of their thin shoestring fries- they remind of something a five year old would want their mom to make at home. Also don't like vanilla extract in the batter of onion rings, but I do love that they're real onions and not like Burger King "onion rings". My daughter likes that tater tots are an alternative there. I also don't care for them putting the hamburger patty on TOP of the lettuce, tomato, and onion. Those are also of no real substance and aren't filling in my opinion - and I'm just a girl! (edited to say I see others get their doubles by default - I would have to do that as well.) I don't like hot dogs in general so never try those.

That's my impromptu Sonic review of the day I love the idea of it and even think their commercials are pretty funny, and like I said the shakes are AWESOME but otherwise, they rate somewhere between meh and puh.

Thanks for the review. As far as chicken sandwiches, I like Wendy's spicy chicken sandwich. For fries, I like Wendy's or McDonald's with extra salt. I prefer the thin fries because I really do not like potatoes so the bigger steak fries have way too much potato to them.  For a breakfast sandwich I love McDonald's Sausage McMuffin (no egg). I like Burger King's Whopper better than a Big Mac. I love Wendy's chili.

that ghost pepper chicken sandwich was disappointing in my opinion. It was very hot, sure, but that was all it had going for it. The crunchiness of the peppers was a nice addition but it needed something more. Something a little kooky like cucumbers to help cut through the heat while adding more crunch and cooling vegetable goodness or something maybe. I don't know. Probably just me. Even just shredded lettuce may have helped a bit.
