Were you around when Ravenheart was?  I wasn't, but from skimming some of his old posts he seems like the sort of person who might have sent that type of thing.  And if you are, that might make me consider some other options in your roulette.

Paatos - Won't Be Coming Back

Seems this band is tagged as Prog on RYM, but at least this song has some pretty strong Trip hop vibes, which I dig quite a bit. Pretty lush atmosphere, its mid 2000s sound also reminds me of the Silent Hill OSTs. Great chorus here, love the mellotron and the synths overall. Although not the most original and unique song of its genre, it does the job very well.

Zola Jesus - Siphon

Hmnnn on the one hand I like the atmosphere and dark feel of this song, but on the other I don't dig her vocal delivery, which comes across as fairly generic for Pop music. The music is pretty cool tho.

This song is pretty fun, if a little too repetitive, but since it's Synthpop it's not that bad I guess. It doesn't have much variety tho, neither on the vocals nor on the synths. So, it's just fine for me.

Orville Peck - Daytona Sand

Yeah, Country / Americana sort of music is not something I understand at all, since I'm not from there, it's not part of my culture. This track is ok, with a bit of a cinematic vibe, and almost reminds me of some Indie Rock bands I can't place my finger on right now.

Wow, narrowly avoided elimination twice in a row now.  Can I keep it up a third (or more?) time?  When I initially designed my playlist I just threw a variety of interesting things on there in the hopes that some would hit, knowing others might not.  Now with more pressure on, I think I'm gonna make a swap, because I'm too nervous about one of my original selections, it has elements that should go over well, but others I'm not so sure about.  Maybe I'll send it anyway after the roulette is over.
