Which modern prog album will get your vote in this poll?

If you haven't listened to BOTH albums, then please refrain from voting, because that would not be a fair vote.  :)

Overall I think PT have the stronger discography but Deadwing isn't as good as De-loused.

this is a Push, but I would have to vote for Deadwing if choosing which album I listened to more and has had more staying power.

I place Frances the Mute over both though.

De-Loused for me, but Deadwing is great too.

This is actually really close. My gut was to say Deloused, but then Deadwing has Lazarus, which is possibly my favourite PT song! Tough call, but I went Deloused as I think it is just more consistent.

Deadwing
Hef is right on all things. Except for when I disagree with him. In which case he's probably still right.

Deadwing is my favourite PT album, but more than half of TMV’s discography beats it, Deloused included
people on this board are actual music fans who developed taste in music and not casual listeners who are following current fashion trends and listening to only current commercial hits.

Deadwing is good, but De-Loused is just on another level.

I reviewed Deloused for my school newspaper around the time it came out. I haven’t listened to the CD once since I wrote the review I don’t think.

Can't get into TMV for whatever reason.
As a basic rule, if you hate it, you must solely blame Portnoy. If it's good, then you must downplay MP's contribution to the band as not being important anyway, or claim he's just lying. It's the DTF way.
