No Connecticut date? Eff that man. Both of these bands were here in the past couple weeks, and when they play together they skip it.

The Inheritance is indeed the best song on Green. Followed by Things That Hide Away.

I had my fingers crossed for a Little Rock or Jackson date. Oh well.

How far are you from the Boston and/or Jersey shows?  I say just come to the Jersey show, 'cause I'll be there :)

Just for clarification, that is Nick Crescenzo on the left?

That's their last.fm picture and it's hilariously awesome.

It's Andy Hull from Manchester Orchestra (hence the appropriateness for this tour).  And on the ground in the middle is Zach Galifianakis

That's their last.fm picture and it's hilariously awesome.

I think it was originally done by somebody on LATR.  Not sure how it ended up on last.fm, but it's definitely fantastic and worthy of that use.

2 hours from Boston. 3 hours from Jersey. If I went to one of those, it would be the Boston one.

I'd definitely make the trek to Boston.  That's TDH's backyard.  They always have good shows and strong crowds there.

I'm gonna do my best to get up there. I don't have a car right now, but who knows what's gonna happen between now and then.

I've done it before... drove up there for one of their 2008 Holiday shows with 3 at Cafe 939.  It's like a 5 hour drive though.  Really exhausting to get there and back in one day.  If they were headlining I'd consider it, but not for an opening slot where they'll just be playing the same set every night.

p.s. ~ This was the setlist for that Boston show...

City Escape
Inquiry of Ms. Terri
Where the Road Parts
Dear Ms. Leading
The Bitter Suite 1&2
Black Sandy Beaches
His Hands Matched His Tongue
New song from the video*
Nameless new song*
Lake and the River
The Procession
Red Hands
Oracles
The Church and the Dime
The Pimp and the Priest
Smiling Swine

*Not entirely sure, but I think the two "new" songs were In Cauda and What It Means To Be Alone

Unfortunately, the sound was awful and the stage was basically at floor level and we were way in the back, so we couldn't see shit :(.

Still a fun night though.  Especially special for me because it was the first time I really met Casey.

Top 10 maybe, but BEST?  Idunno... for best I think I'd pick either The Lake and the River, Dear Ms. Leading or His Hands Matched His Tongue...

And I've only seen them live 12 times!!  (13 if you count the Casey solo show).

Red Hands is better then He Said He Had a Story, though the latter is the best on Act III and very good as well.

Hey Zepp, how often do they play Jackson and/or Little Rock? Right now, I really don't want to drive to Dallas to see them. Jackson and Little Rock are each about 2 hours closer to me.
