I enjoyed that one.  I remember listening to it often in college.  I didn't care for Hold Your Fire and Presto.

New Sum 41 is a frustrating listen. It has like the best and worst of their sound all rolled into one, imo. I always love it when they lean into their heavy metal influences, but there's also some modern production choices I just do not like. In places it's full on, unapologetic pop punk, that seems clearly influenced by Blink's latest. I hear Offspring on Bad Mistake as well, and there are some nice heavy riffs and ripping solos.

The highs give me a real nostalgia trip to early 00s Sum 41, but the lows make me want to give my ear drums a fat lip.
