Seeing that this seems to be more or less dead, I will post a few hints to the ones that haven't been guessed.

A2: Album by a Finnish power metal band. Their name is a portmanteau.
B3: Live album from the seventies. Very well known.
B4: Triple live album, released after the band split up. Very well known.
B5: Album by a female-fronted metal band. They split up in 2010.
C1: Album by a rock band from Northern Ireland.
C3: Album released by an Australian song writer, who is also an actor.
D3: Rap/hip-hop album by a trio of young gents. One of their songs features Will Ferrell in the video.
E2: Debut album by a hard rock band from Arizona.

Well, it's not Beastie Boys, that's for sure.

Hmmm... hints...

D3 features many guest musicians, including Jack Black, T-Pain and Justin Timberlake.
E2: one of its songs was featured in the horror movie Blood Guardian.

HINTS YO:

A1: Third album from this avant-garde metal band. Sometimes, it just makes me wanna dance.
A3: Metallica covered several songs from this album. Lyrically, this album is pretty evil.
A4: To narrow it down a little, the artist who recorded this album is often rumored to be a robot who was raised in a chicken coop. His headgear makes him standout.
A5: Doom/sludge metal of the highest caliber. This album is what scaling a mountain feels like. It's BIG.

B3: One of the best doom/progressive metal albums out there. It's a truly melancholic album.
B4: The exact opposite. Folk punk rock that puts anyone with a soul into a frenzy of good moods.

C3: German metal. Highly regarded for their stage performance and love for phallic objects.

D2: Second album from this progressive rock band. I'll give you a hint, they are touring with one of the biggest metal bands ever this year.
D5: One of my personal favourites in melodic death metal. Many people don't care for this bands first vocalist, but I think he is better than her.
E2: One of the better albums from this band who are regarded as the "god fathers of doom".
