Urgh, I can't stand Sophie Ellis-Bextor. I don't even know why!
Bonobo is pretty cool though. My wife is a big fan, we went to see him a few years ago. Not 100% my jam, but it was fun.
The Sophie album was fine enough, but coming on the heels of that Paloma Faith album - which is very easily going to slide into my top 10 albums of the year - it failed to hold my interest much. Don't have anything negative to say about it other than it just wasn't compelling to me, though. Bonobo freaking
rules - home introduced me to him a couple years ago with Migration, and that album (and Black Sands) are my favorites. The North Borders is awesome too, though.
EDIT: now it's Ólafur Arnalds - Some Kind of Peace. Had no idea this was out, thankfully I'm only a couple weeks late. Beautiful, and the first song features Bonobo
