Evening prog. Still studying my CCNA material and I"m also reading the network+ book along with Todd's book. I'm getting everything from two perspectives and it's all finally starting to click.

I'm going to set up my lab this week sometime. What do you actually practice on your lab Prog?

The Network+ book is good because it gives you more generic details about networking, which is always helpful.

For the lab, I would search online for lab exercises and go through the Cisco Command Guide and also Todd Lammle's IOS Commands Survival Guide.

Wal Mart is the busiest I've ever seen in my 5 years here.   They have 378 trailers to unload then ship the product out.  I have seen the low 300's once here.  This means that we will see a ton of pallets to sort when they ship out all the product we are receiving.  It's crazy times here for us.

Well today is/was Day 1 of the two day Summit in Australia (at this point I'm pretty sure the first day's festivities are winding down if not done) and I haven't heard screams, received crazed emails, or anything of that sort, so I'm hoping/assuming all went well, which is a big weight off me.

Still a relatively empty inbox and hopefully another chill day ahead.

Not definite, but my boss told me that he would do everything he can to get it through, even if it means he can't put anyone else from the team up for a promotion, and that people a couple rungs up the ladder from him are aware of the fact that I'm deserving. TBH, by year end I'll be debt free and should have a little money saved up, I may just give my notice if it doesn't come through then.
