Completely is, but to me that part is nothing more than a homage; the rest is a bit too similar for me but without the 'drowning' production. It's a bit too open and free for me to be that similar to Ocean Machine. Plus any comparison to OM is gonna lose, in my ears; there's just no comparison to that album and there never fucking will be. It's too singular, too personal and hurtful and hopeful and helpful and 234958U234ROKAJDSFL;. It's perfection incarnate to me. Rain City is awesome but it's lower-tier on SB for me precisely because of the many callbacks and homages to OM; it seems to try a bit too hard in that regard, to me anyway. I like SB as a fusion of the song itself and The New Reign. TNR has this oddly beautiful melancholy while still being so wide open and hopeful and yet gets so dark in very small bits and pieces...while SB is just perfectly hopefully and poppy in all the right ways without being shallow. SB as an album is all of that to me with a few drawbacks here and there that keep it from being my consistent favorite. Well, overall...right now it's still all I'm listening to but even now as I'm listening to Regulator, I can see why OM will always be my favorite and why SB will just fall a tad bit short.
Just me, though. ALWAYS. WHO'S THE WEAKEST NOW? CAUGHT UP IN THE WIRE. I'M ALREADY GONE. WHO'S THE WEAKEST MEEEEEOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!?
