Bloom County is back

And this morning the first strip was posted on Berkeley Breathed's Facebook page.

Glad to see him bring it back  :caffeine:
In high school my buddies and I built a Van Der Graaf generator.  You know, to get girls.

OMG!!  This is so awesome!!  And the new strip is up....and it's funny!!!

And did anyone see this?   (don't think you'll be able to see it unless you're on Facebook, but it's a pretty hilarious post to his official FB page)

EDIT - For the "Facebook challenged" it's a still shot from San Diego Comicon with Harrison Ford kissing a digital Bill the Cat (who has been edited in over Carrie Fisher) with the following quote:

Hoping many of you caught Bill the Cat on yesterday's Star Wars panel at Comic Con. Very emotional for all the cast. He and Ford got close during the shoot. Our pal J.J.Abrams cast him --against type, I think-- as Sith Princess BoobalooACKTHBBFT. Coming soon: More secret pics from The Force Awakens. Bill never signed a non-disclosure agreement.

Not a fan.

If this was Calvin, I'd be all over it, but I don't get the point of view (Boondocks, either, which is close in spirit and often pays homage to Bloom County).

I love the relationship between Berkeley and Bill Watterson.   It's my understanding that it is *far* friendlier behind the scenes than it appears to be on the surface...they just apparently both get a kick out of chiding one another.

Bill once wrote Berkeley a letter that took him to the mat for cashing in on Bill and Opus....Berkeley responded by sending Bill a cartoon of Bill the Cat and Hobbes in a "compromising position" with Blondie.    :rollin
