Rules..
1. Nothing complicated. 8 people, 8 rounds.
2. No eliminations
3. Themed rounds and a couple open rounds
4. Scoring from 1-10 points per song
5. Schedule likely to be this, as how it jives with my work schedule. Submissions in by Tuesday PM and I’ll have the results the following Monday
6. Like Kirknosehair, I plan on making CDs of each round to listen to in the car. I can rip from Youtube so youtube links really will work best.
7. My ask when submitting a song is to please include Album name and year and if possible the band lineup. This will be necessary for the Guitar Hero round. I’m interested in the supporting musicians as well. Same for the Savatage round, as I know they have had lineup changes.
8. I will ship the TAC Roulette CD Set to the winner!!!!! That’s the prize!
9. If you are torn between 2 songs for a round, I will allow everyone to use a Wild Card, which means you can send two, and I'll use the best one. You can only use this Wild Card ONCE and this option, for obvious reasons, will NOT be available for the Winger Round.
Round 1..Kick my ASS Round!
Submit a track that will knock me out. Consider how an opening track of an album or a concert sets the tone. That’s what I’m looking for here.
Round 2..Savatage Round
Savatage is a band that I cannot get into. I need some convincing. And sorry Chad, no TSO.
Round 3..Guitar Hero Instrumental Round
The only Guitar Instrumental albums I have belong to Michael Schenker and Uli Roth. I know there are TONS of great albums out there. Let me hear them. And while Steve Vai is most certainly allowed, please don’t send me The Attitude Song. I have that.
Round 4..Open Round
Round 5..Winger Round
You assholes wanted it, you got it! I suppose this saves me the trouble of disqualifying everyone at the same time because I know you guys were going to play shenanigans.
Why is Round 5 the Winger round? Because sucks has five letters. So does blows. So does queer.
Round 6..Open Round
Round 7…Live Round
Must be a selection from a Live Album. No time limit.
Round 8…Epic Round
It’s not a DTF Roulette without an Epic Round right? 10-15 minute time limit here.
As most of you guys know, I am not a fan of growls so send at your own risk.
