Power is out still since 7:45am.  Over 12 hours. Lucky that we have a generator. Only issue is no cable, streaming or wifi.

Do you live in a fucking cave?  You seem to be out of power every week!  I'd be relocating.

Well if somebody didn't knock over a pole in our area this might not have happened.

Yeah, that sucks Joe, seriously. Is it still too windy for them? Seems they've had enough time. So damn frustrating.

I live in the woods. Only 20 minutes from the most populated town. They have power but the small towns with many trees that towns don't take care of is brutal with wet, heavy snow.

I'm starting to not feel my edibles, like I'm 3 hours into mine tonight and I feel just a little relaxed but not high. I normally feel that warm feeling by now.

Just felt a minor earthquake here in NYC , I thought it was one of our front loaders driving by my office that shook the building but nope, just an earthquake

I felt it, here in Northern CT and I was on a call and one attorney from NY felt it, and one attorney in Philly was in his parking garage and felt it.

Yeah, was just sitting by myself at my work office and it felt like someone was constantly dropping something very heavy on the floor above me.  After a moment, it was quite clear it was an earthquake as my water cooler's water was shaking.  Been like 14 or so years since the last one I can recall in the tri state area.  Of course I had to run around the facility here and make sure nothing somehow got damaged and alert my teams in case they see something with our systems, but all looks good.

Apparently everyone I know in CT felt the Earthquake, including my wife in the next room. I didn't feel a thing. I'm bummed I missed it.

My brother, a couple towns over from where I am now, is in the same bucket. All upset he didn't notice because he was walking his dog.

I remember a couple of earthquakes from the 90s. But the strongest one was in 2003 right after midnight (6.4 magnitude), and I slept all through it. My family woke me up and I remember being bummed that I missed it. Then shortly after there were some aftershocks.

I think the last earthquake we had in VA was in summer 2011. It happened right after I got home from getting my wisdom teeth removed.

I usually feel one or two a year, of the ten or so that hit where I'm at each year. Most of the time I don't know of them till my FB feed blows up with locals posting stuff like "did you feel that?".

Of the hundreds I've been through, only had two in my life that truly scared me though. Loma Prieta in '89 obviously, was on the public transportation and got stuck in Oakland for about 4 hours till they got the bus bridges up and running. The other was a 4.5 that struck a half mile from my house, and the hundreds of aftershocks in the following day. By the end my brother and I were sitting out front, drinking beer and watching the houses shake as each aftershock rolled through the neighborhood. One earthquake gets your attention, a few hundred in a few hours breaks your trust of the earth you stand on. That shit was so unnerving.

Yeah...we're totally due for a good sized quake here. The Hayward fault hasn't snapped since the late 1800's, and averages a solid quake every 150 years. It runs right through Berkeley and Oakland and would seriously fuck up the bay area if it broke for over a 7, which it's definitely capable of.
