I am so confused.

Not sure if this will make things better or worse, but...

"Blame Paradise", inspired by a prompt from Chris Lund, is about information overload- the increasingly difficult task of weeding out the nonsense and mistruths we are bombarded with in our every day. We knew if we were to do a video, it would have to take a similar approach to the way it made the viewer feel, and thus, what started as a simple text exchange between Erez and I, attempting to make each other laugh at the increasing ridiculousness of the idea, has turned into this music video.

We first collaborated on the video for "Gloria". Erez reached out to me with the goal of representing the world within Acts I-V, and after speaking only a handful of times, we found a creative kinship, and have since begun to develop a seemingly endless list of future projects.

With "Blame Paradise", we are releasing our first venture as co-writers/directors, having developed the project in full, together, from start to finish. As ridiculous as this video may seem, it is truly a labor of love (I stress labor, with us both having amassed hundreds of hours of work in post alone), and it would mean everything to us both if you would share this video with anyone looking to enjoy an entertaining 6 minutes of Tomato and meringue fueled high school space odyssey.

Thank you so much for viewing, and have a pleasant today.

I'd actually read that first.  I don't feel that it adequately prepared me.

Ben_Jamin

Haha...Don't know what to say other than..."Stay in School"

Mebert78

That video was quite entertaining!  Nice job with the prompt, Chris!  Can't believe that all originated from an idea you provided to them, lol.

So when is this EP out in the UK? (or is it already).

Friday as far as I know. I'm struggling to find where to buy it though. I didn't want to order it from their website as the shipping made it way too expensive. I'm happy with just getting the digital files but don't really want to use iTunes (as the artist doesn't get so much of the money). However they don't have a Bandcamp page.

I'm happy to use Spotify for the moment but I'd still like to get the digital files. Any suggestions?

I don't think you can get this anywhere but their website.

You can normally get their mp3s through Amazon (and indeed the disc, if it's distributed here).

Holy Moly the setlist of the tour is epictacular.

I really wish they were coming to Minneapolis on this tour. I really enjoy The Family crest, who they're touring with and it would have been fun to see them together.

yeah I hear ya. I'm happy The Family Crest are getting that kind of exposure (and TDH vice versa I suppose to TFC fans).

For What It is Worth, I am really excited at least to see Typhoon in Minneapolis in January.

That is an incredible setlist. Lots of songs that haven't been played very much and no Mustard Gas or He Said He Had A Story which are played way too damn much.

Why is the new album not on Spotify yet?  :censored :censored :censored
Waiting for more than 10 hours already...

I just downloaded it off iTunes as I couldn't wait any longer. It was only ÂŁ2.99! Bargain.

Listening will commence on my way to work, in 10 minutes  :heart

Same here.  Although I'm listening at work, I'd avoided listening to any of the tracks before as I like to come to an album as fresh as possible.  So two tracks in 'The Right Wrong' was pretty TDH by numbers (which is fine).  'Blame Paradise' sounded great, big chorus with cool harmonies - reminded me of the disco style track on ACT 4.

MrBoom_shack-a-lack

Admist in the hype for the EP, me being a TDH newbie I can't stop listening on Act 4. Was suppose to move along to Act 3 at this point.  :)

soupytwist

Track 3 kind off passed me by, a ballad I believe.   Track 4 'Shake Me' was an instant great, reminded me of the song style of the poppy Yellow EP.   Track 5 'Witness Me' was confusing on one listen, started cool - but the last minute of got quite repetitive.   Track 6 is a lighters in the air, power ballad (like Home) pretty cool.

Yep just bought the files of their bandcamp, not waiting for Spotify anymore either  :metal

That's because Act IV is their masterpiece and just on a different level  :hefdaddy

FFS iTunes is the biggest piece of shit. Completely unable to buy the album for some reason. And not available in the UK anywhere else, except through bandcamp but it's poor value doing that in Dollars or Euros these days due to the moronic Brexit-induced collapse in the value of the Pound.

Guess I'll have to wait for someone other than Apple to actually make the album available in the UK.

Just won't work. Firstly it was because it was forcing me to update various things (like security questions or payment card details) after each of which it just didn't continue with the purchase. So I'd start from scratch, then it'd need me to update another one, and then same again. Eventually there were no more things I needed to update, but it just didn't work. So I closed iTunes, tried again, and it gave me an error message.

Anyway I'll just wait until it's available from somewhere that doesn't involve Apple. :lol

Yep. My wife and I are making a long weekend getaway out of it. Can't wait. Love the new ep.

The "song style" prompt for that one was to ask for a sound similar to the Yellow EP, so that's definitely not just a coincidence.

Yea it's really great but I enjoy Act IV equally as well so i'm not sure which one I would rate higher.

I kind of wish they'd play the whole ep on their current tour. It isn't that long so wouldn't take up too much of their set.
The only song I'm so so about is Beyond the Pale but the transition from that to Shake Me - Awake is awesome.

Vinyl arrived this afternoon.

So jealous of you Chris. The write-up for every song is really extensive.

Any chance you've got pictures of the write-up for Blame Paradise?  I haven't actually seen it yet and I'm dying to see what it says!
