yeah, trailer and scream is not related... trailer is disc 1, scream is disc 2
Noxon, did you just inadvertently spoil what the second video is gonna be? A disk 2 trailer? haha.  :D ;)

I think he meant "Xander getting captured by Daryus is in disc 1" rather than, "trailer is advertising disc 1"

Can anyone who has heard the album confirm whether these emails take place before the story starts, or during?

For example, in the very first email Ahrys describes hacking into the NOMACS, while this most recent email describes a pretty detailed scene of Gabriel singing for the Royal Family.

In the group photo, the guy in the front has a cool looking shirt.  Would love to know where he got the shirt.

Someone posts a picture of a group of people, including a lovely brunette. DT fan asks about the shirt on the guy who is sitting next to her

She's Roadrunner France's brand manager ;) she was really nice.

@Xander's disease is called the enemy inside (his bowels). Now I understand why we can hear someone throwing up in the second CD!

No, he is talking about the fact that the scene people are referring to above with Xander comes from the trailer and takes place within Act I.  The scream part, which has nothing to do with the trailer, is Act II.  We already have the trailer.  The other video is something different.

(reposting this any case there is new information)

Due to the delay until March, any speculation as to what the bonus gift will be for those of us that purchased the box sets?  Any ideas?

The bonus gift was delayed? What will be the bonus bonus gift for having to wait for the bonus gift for having to wait for the full box set?

It's only 147 pages if you set it to the max number of posts per page  ;D

Like I said on the Preorder thread, I think it's going to be either a GNEA or Ravenskill patch. If it's both, that'd be amazing, because I would love to collect everything released for this album.

Also just got this from RR:

Dear Pre-order Customer,

We regret to inform you that due to further unforeseen production delays the Limited Edition Box Set for Dream Theater's The Astonishing will be arriving a bit later this spring. We anticipate the box being completed in early May, arriving to you middle of the month. We sincerely apologize for the length of time you will need to wait. The hand-painted limited edition custom NOMAC inside the box will be worth the wait, we assure you!

In anticipation of the custom box set we plan to do everything we can to make this delay up to you by providing you with exclusive content and looks inside The Astonishing album, on a monthly basis.

First we wanted to give you a look at the LIMITED EDITION PIN that you will be receiving with your album on January 29th.

Thank you for your patience as we work on completing the box set.

 Regards,
 Roadrunner Records

Calling Gabriel "The Chosen One" and all that...that's a lot of pressure to heap on a guy...I just hope it doesn't get to his head.

Yes, she is lovely, but so is that shirt :D. I am hoping that the DT site will sell those patches that some folks received.

I have an inkling they might have got someone else to write all that. But if it was the band, then my bet would be JP. It just seems like the kind of thing he'd do. :lol

I would guess JP based on how much he's invested into the idea.
