Thanks to all the culinary advice from lonestar in both this thread and the "How do you like your steak" thread, I was able to make a steak in the manner I now dub "A la Lonestar": Take bacon grease and melt it in a skillet, along with bacon crumbs. Season steak with spices (I used traditional Montreal steak spice) and on high heat sear the steak on both sides. Then, lowing heat, cook steak to a perfect medium rare. Remove steak, and pour bacon/steak juices over it.
Eat, orgasm.
