Somewhere, over the wasteland..... bootlegs fly
So, I decided to settle the matter once for all and broke the two songs down into 13 comparable categories, and then casting a vote for each.
Don't try to BS her about Kevin Moore facts, she will obscure quote you in the face.
Zydar is my new hero. I just laughed so hard I nearly shat.
Only King could mis-spell a LETTER.
Yep. I think the only party in the MP/DT situation that hasn't moved on is DTF.
Reading all those (varied) opinions is very interesting, but I would be happy to see someone rank the songs basing on the loose categories I implemented. I don't know, it would be fun to see who and how many like this or that section, or what are the leading opinons on the lyrics, or the impact the songs have in the live environment. We've had more than enough simple battle threads, I believe it's time to spice up things
Perhaps you should ask bosk to reverse the "e" and "a" in the second half of your user name.
Cedar redaC swoops in for the kill!
I've always held UAGM just above TTT. Both are awesome, but UAGM feels special to me.
Sorry to be boring, but I'd give Take the Time the edge in literally every category. But then, it's my favorite Dream Theater song, so.
Hey dude slow the fuck down so we can finish together at the same time.
SquscRa are the resultaten of sound nog bring propey
I'm doing it for each second of music. Take the Time wins, because it's longer.
"I THINK IT'S TIME FOR A CHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANGE"And that's why I like TTT more. Still absolutely love them both though.
UAGM guitar solo is ICONIC.
So, Take The Time still wins 8-5 for me. What about you?
Yeah, I have no idea what the cakeless person in that analogy is meant to be eating. If he's got some sort of cake substitute, it should really have been worked into the narrative at some point. As it stands, the options are:Hoard a cake just to stare blankly into its doughy edifice.Make futile chewing motions with your mouth while starving to death.

Says someone with a handle based on the lyrics of UAGM.
Both brilliant songs. 3rd and 4th ranked on Images for me, but I definitely prefer TTT.
