Orlando seemed like Zakk Wylde 2.0 from what I remember from Adrenaline Mob.  Kinda cool for a bit, but one-dimensional after awhile.

I mean I get why you say that, but even that comparison doesn't work. Zakk is Steve Freakin' Howe compared to Mike Orlando in terms of "dimensions".

It does sound like there's a bit of an effect on her during the chorus so it's possible the effect is actually a backing track that she sings on top of, but this case, the backing track is the main vocal line.  I don't know, she felt really raw and live that day to my ears, and even on that recording, the band sounds live to me. 

Not trying to defend her, I'm not some huge fan, just so happens that I was at the same show so thought I'd offer a perspective. 

I'm not too offended by this honestly because it felt live in person, but if it is a backing track to the main vocal, that is pretty lame.

New Black Crowes album is really good.  Best album since Amorica for me.  Sound itself is good too.

I've just discovered this band Every Hell, as they are playing at Arctangent Festival later this year. They only have two songs on Spotify currently but they sound like Colour Spectrum era Dear Hunter but a bit more post-hardcore. Well, after reading their bio on Spotify it turns out most of the members are ex Black Peaks (great band). I guess that's a good description of their sound, Dear Hunter meets Black Peaks.

Either way, well worth checking out!

It's an Unto Others' song alright  Kinda what you would expect from them, maybe with the metal dialed down a bit vs. Strength. But it's undeniably catchy, and incredibly well arranged (the main clean guitar theme under the chugging is simple, but so effective).

Oh, and the video is a must-watch  The best part is the beginning of the second verse, after the chorus, after the 1-minute mark...There is a brief acoustic guitar bit and, well, it's as tongue-in-cheek as it gets

It's gotten to the point where both sides are going to need to start bringing up actual proof to back up their claims, but yeah, this has been really fun to keep up with. The absolute spectacle of Kenrick's last two tracks in particular has been something else.

My son and his friends went to see Kendrick Lamar at the Garden when he came to Boston a couple of years ago. The show actually looked amazing from the videos.

Wikipedia says their last two albums peaked at #1 on the Australian charts, so you probably are just under the rock/metal rock there.  But it's become a lot easier to avoid even the most popular music than it used to be.
