I call shenanigans on a new album until I have it in my hands. And will it be any good? They’ve been “working” on this album for so long that whatever mojo they had would seem to be seriously dissipated at this point. I don’t entirely understand their inner band dynamics, but from what I’ve gleaned from Facebook and other places, it seems like Drew Goddard has been the main factor holding things up. Ian Kenny has been busy with Birds of Tokyo, and honestly, I’d imagine that Birds is way more lucrative financially at this point, since they work way more consistently and have a much wider audience than the Vool now.
