Just listened to the whole album.
After hearing the single a couple of weeks ago, I was pretty disappointed, because the lack of Luca Turilli's influence was obvious.
Luckily the rest of the album is a bit better, but that absence is still very obvious. It doesn't sound much like Rhapsody. That in itself isn't all bad, but it's definitely lacking.
There's still a lot of the usual fast single note riffing that I expect from Rhapsody, but it's not as memorable. I'm not used to hearing standard metal riffing! After the first listen, nothing sticks in my head, except for the Sea of Fate section in Angel of Light (which I hope was intentional!). The vocal melodies aren't as strong, and the riffing is plain. The guitarist is also a little sloppy. He's not bad, but the faster sweeping arpeggios often sound like he's at the very edge of his capabilities.
Based on their first albums since the split, I have to give the first round victory easily to Luca Turilli here.
