Yeah, Long Island Ice Tea is probably my favourite drink. Has the added bonus that you need at max two of them and then that's enough for the evening. :lol

In. Made my own drink from what we have in our flat (if it already exists as a recipe, then I copied it unknowingly, I guess): rum, vodka, lemon juice and iced tea. Fucking delicious.

LOL sounds like a spiked Arnold Palmer... I'm down, I'd try that. Are you using a white or dark rum?

I'm not that knowledgeable on the rum front, and I didn't buy the bottle myself, but looking at it, it's amber in colour, so something in the middle maybe? I've seen white rum, it's not that, but I've also seen darker shades around (If you can't tell already, I'm pretty bad with this :P ).

They only started selling it up here a couple years ago. Every trip we took to Florida, I always brought some home. When we went to PA, I brought home 4 cases (24 pks).

One of the great benefits of Goose Island having been bought by Anheuser-Busch is that I can at least count on being able to crush Goose Island IPAs as pretty much any sporting event.

I know your job and you throw yourself into it.

I was there a day earlier pre-mixing one of the signature drinks, so their bartenders didn't have to futz around with multiple ingredients.  Also helped pick out and bring in all of the beer and liquor they purchased for the event.  So yeah.

This is good, indeed.  At least you have a good choice that isn't Bud Lite or Miller Lite.  Good God, it's one more reason for me to hate sporting events.  Or concerts in sports stadiums.

I definitely feel like most sporting events have more beer options than they used to.  Sometimes you gotta walk around the stadium a bit to find the right stand/bar, but I can't recall the last time you were limited to the typical Bud/Miller/Coors.

You do have to hike to find good beer choices, and they're usually not REALLY well marked.  There could be an 8 foot high BUD LITE sign at every station, and the lone Goose Island station has a little 8.5x11 hand written sign.

Troeg's

I've had some Troeg's before and loved it. Last time we went to Hershey, we didn't get in for a tour. I think it may have been a Sunday that we were there. We were committed to the Yuenling  brewery on that trip anyway.

COS Pithos Sicilian wine. I spent a little bit of dough on this but it reconfirms my stance that Sicilian wine is the best I've ever had.

Made a "ginger beer margarita". Ginger beer, lime juice, tequila, and simple syrup.

Normally I'll have tequila, lime, and club soda because normal margaritas are too sweet, but this one is pretty damn good  :heart

I didn't get anything today. I had  time with my daughter so that took precedence. Tomorrow after work I might either get another bottle of that pricey Sicilian wine or get some bourbon.
