As usual, I would like a drink but I do not drink anymore. Have had a handful since 8/19/2008 but for the most part am behaving. But I still once in awhile step into a thread like this and breathe in the nostalgia and party vibes.

I had some Howling Moon NC Moonshine last night.  Felt good on my achy teeth.  Time to call the dentist.  :(

In with an ok farmhouse ale but nothing compares to the nectar of the beer gods that is Spotted Cow so I'm not impressed
Ah yes, Spotted Cow. I've got no problem crossing over in Wisconsin to get some. Despite being so close for some reason the liquor stores here don't have it, despite being only three miles from the border.

Spotted Cow is pretty good, a girl I dated who went to University of Wisconsin let me try some from her sacred 6 pack.   :tup

A friend brought me back a few beers from New Glarus, after going to a Packers game - Spotted Cow, Moon Man, Two Women Lager, and Fat Squirrel Ale.  All fairly decent stuff.

Bought Caskmates again.   On the rocks but I've got 2 great beers to share with the wife once she gets out of work.

Caskmates...

What do you think?

I dig... Though I'm six in at the moment, which may compromise my palate a bit.  From previous tasting, I definitely like it, though I may slightly prefer the black barrel.

Been in most of the day. Started down at my friend's brewery in central NJ (Conclave Brewing) and did a flight of their six beers. Got home and started in on brewing a batch of saison, and drank a brett spiked saison from a brewery out of NC. Now well into the boil on my beer and drinking some homebrewed English mild.
Photobucket sucks.
