Did you listen to it with headphones, lying on your bed, doing nothing else at the time (aside from maybe reading the lyrics)?

No, for several reasons (I don't like to sit around doing nothing but having music playing, it makes me anxious, and I focus on music better when I multitask anyway, but I absolutely refuse to do that for albums I've already heard and know I dislike). Beyond that, the production is total ass. The name of the album is Aqua for Christ's sake yet the production is dryer than a popcorn fart. There are some questionable songwriting decisions and lord don't even get me started on how god awful Edu Falaschi sounds - he only went downhill from Temple of Shadows and not even studio magic makes him sound good here. Felipe's bass playing on Rage of the Waters is the best thing about this album. Are you convinced yet that I cannot stand this album? 'cause you should be. There's not a single song here I want on my Angra playlist. Not one. Also, Confessori's drumming just stinks on ice.

Okay, whew, I got that out of my system... mostly. Carry on with the roulette. I will continue pretending Aqua doesn't exist.

I haven't brought up that album since we discussed it in the Secret Garden thread, where you said you'd do exactly that in exchange for Rhapsody.  You're the one feeling the need to discuss it, perhaps because in some deep part of your subconscious you know that you're missing out...

Only discussing it so you finally understand I will never enjoy that album, and because I just looked at that thread and there are NO stipulations that I had to listen to it in solitude, with headphones, etc. and I listened to it twice, so now you definitely owe me, no way out of this now, my friend. There are few things I truly hate in life, and Aqua is not one of them (strongly dislike =/= hate). Pineapple on pizza, cabbage, and people who drive slow in the left lane.  Aqua is merely a nuisance in comparison. And I did listen with an open mind. Deal with it

Absolutely! I mean, I would understand why you would say that, because she has this slight gospel sound to her voice, but I think her voice is gorgeous and works surprisingly well with the music.
