I, too, find it very funny, and it is funny only because of the constant repetition. When hearing the comment(*) on the DVD I was baffled that one of the best scenes was only added because the episode was too short and not because it is seriously funny.

Yes, I'm one of those nerds who have listenend to the comment of every single episode up to season 12
Must've been Kwyji sending all the wrong songs.   ;D

#1 looks like it was staged.  Good fakeout on the girl in the purple striped shirt if it was.
#2 and #3:  :rollin
#4:  :|  People acting stupid around treadmills is just...stupid to me.  The results are predictable and just not very amusing.

I need to buy me a propper and sharp kitchen knife, as simple as that. My current one couldn't do that even if I held the damn tomato.

Totally agree!

My knives cut tomatoes rather less well than another tomato would.

He's stuck it to the board though. Look at how much the board moves while he's cutting, and it doesn't budge from its position on the board. The final cut before it repeats especially. That's not normal.

Im no expert but that cutting board could be very light and the friction of the tomato could cause the whole board to move slightly like that while cutting.  I've seen this before with my very light plastic cutting board although my knife also wouldnt be cutting through while it's moving.  Im also no denying that the tomato isnt taped or somehow stuck to the board, thats very possible as well especialy if this was taken from some sort of infomercial for the knife.

Lay a wet paper towel down under your cutting board. That will prevent it from sliding.

As will holding the cutting board with that free hand that isn't doing anything instead of acting like you think you are a ninja assassin because you can slice a tomato with one hand casually hanging at your side as if that somehow makes you cool.

That's Mahlers 6th symphony during the Finale. Always a joy to watch.  :)

Wiki explains it better than I do:

Quote
The sound of the hammer, which features in the last movement, was stipulated by Mahler to be "brief and mighty, but dull in resonance and with a non-metallic character (like the fall of an axe)." The sound achieved in the premiere did not quite carry far enough from the stage, and indeed the problem of achieving the proper volume while still remaining dull in resonance remains a challenge to the modern orchestra. Various methods of producing the sound have involved a wooden mallet striking a wooden surface, a sledgehammer striking a wooden box, or a particularly large bass drum, or sometimes simultaneous use of more than one of these methods.

I just don't understand what they were trying to achieve with any part of the song, either individually or as a whole. You know what? It's the Platypus of Dream Theater songs. That bill doesn't go with that tail, or that strange little furry body, or those webbed feet, and oh god why does it have venomous spurs!? And then you find out it lays eggs too. The difference is that the Platypus is somehow functional despite being a crazy mishmash or leftover animal pieces
