Now I need a pause. And moreover, I think this band is really increasing. They always offer better and better stuff, and that's good for further albums!Try A Winter's Dream

You mean more part 1 or 2?By this album you mean the Damnation Game, right?because that album is fricken awesome. By far my favorite. In a Winter's Dream (1&2), The Edge of Forever, Secrets, Dressed to Kill and the Damnation Game are awesome songs.
I'm a big fan of non-angry RA.the music is far more classically inspired also

I didn't pay too much attention to it cause... it's pretty old and I thought their old stuff wasn't that great. But I'm gonna look at it.

Symphony X are one of my favorite bands. I don't understand the shit they get about being so cheesy when there are so many more cheesier bands out there. SX pull off their fantasy lyrics really well, and in my opinion they don't sound cheesy at all. Who cares if they have a song about Medusa? It's an awesome rockin' song.My favorite album of theirs is V: The New Mythology Suite, and I'm in the minority that actually liked Paradise Lost. It's one badass album, and although I like Russell's clean vocals more, he pulls off tasteful harsh vocals that don't completely suck... Like most harsh vocals do.

I don't know many people that think Paradise Lost is anything short of a masterpiece.I wouldn't say it's my favourite album from them but it's up there with the best.I absolutely LOVE The Walls of Babylon and Revelation.
on par with the anguish one would have from getting unconsensually bent over and buttloved.
I simply can't get into Paradise Lost. I like the first two songs, but from then on I lose interest. It just sounds samey, nothing I haven't heard before. My favourite album of theirs is V, and I hope their next album is in a similar fashion.
(Also, The Odyssey = win.)
MAN FUCK YOU KUJA.
The Darklord is amazing
SX's best song is The Divine Wings of Tragedy.
Cole: "Ow I just got hit in the balls"Me: "How?"Cole: "Well you know when you try to scratch your balls, and you scratch too hard?
I'll admit sometimes I want to listen to Dragonforce.
That's a great top 5 PLM. Can't argue with that list.
Quote from: DarkLord_Lalinc on May 07, 2009, 04:33:15 PMSX's best song is The Divine Wings of Tragedy. I'm inclined to agree with you, it is certainly top 5 material. A bit overwhelming in terms of content to begin with, but after a couple of listens it really gels and it's a fantastic song.
Global Laziness: Speaks for Canada
I walked down a spiral staircase in 19/16 in honor of Tom Sawyer and now I'm in crutches.
Seven is a freakin' awesome song. Probably my favorite from Paradise Lost.

Going from Eve of Seduction to The Walls of Babylon almost killed the album for me

It seems loosely based on it only. I mean, the themes are there, clearly. But I don't think it follows a story.
Oh I know that...It's a concept album in my eyes, and by definition it is also one. It's just not an obvious one like Operation: Mindcrime or SFAM.
V is a concept album though, right??
